We've run into to several issues since buying our converted sprinter van, but this was by far the scariest. As I say at the beginning of this video, I realize I made some bad decisions in this situation that put us in danger. Thankfully, we are both fine, and we have learned from the experience.

We’re Marianne & Chris, a happily married couple from the UK. Marianne is a living kidney donor to her best friend, and realising that life was for living and never really knowing what’s round the corner - we decided to fulfil our dream of travelling full time.
So in March 2018 after the kids had left home, we sold our belongings, rented our house and moved into our campervan called Trudy. We set off to see the world and after vanlifing around Ireland and Europe, we grabbed our backpacks and spent 5 months exploring Central America.
Feeling like we needed a challenge, we planned the ultimate van life adventure! In Jan 2020 set off to drive around the World from UK to UK. But after arriving in Turkey, covid caught up with us and closed the borders, so we had a wonderful 18 months exploring this special country. Realising we were not going to be able to head further East, we decided to do a handbrake turn and go the other way and shipped our van to the USA.
We hope you enjoy coming with us, and we’ll continue to share our real adventures and hope you feel inspire to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.

We leave SPAIN on our MOTORHOME VANLIFE ADVENTURE and head into FRANCE travelling north east to our next stop over, if we make it!!!!!

BREAK IN! Vanlife Nightmare (van attacked with us INSIDE)
Not again!! Thieves try to break in to our van, whilst we are inside. Usually this would spook a criminal, but these guys did not care and would not stop. Before this happened we were enjoying a wonderful time in Greece. We spent some time in Meteora enjoying Greek history, wondrous nature and some bitter cold weather. Greece has been fantastic so far, and I know this unfortunate event is not a reflection of this country or it's people.
In future we will be more vigilant and not arrive at park ups in the dark so we can make our own analysis of how dodgy a place feels.

We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan. We are starting a Japanese road trip and excited to bring you all along.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We were BROKEN INTO! | our WORST NIGHTMARE | Van Life Reality | Spain
The FULL STORY of our robbery. Our epic road trip ended on a bitter note after our van was broken into and ransacked in Southern Spain. They took a lot of our belongings and violated our home. We are grateful no-one was injured and that our van was safe, but we were still shaken by what had happened. Even in broad daylight with CCTV signs around the area we were still broken into, which has spurred us on to increase our security before heading off on our next trip.
We put up a video when this first happened and today we are finally caught up with all our footage and can share the whole experience.
We are so grateful for the kindness of everyone on YouTube and Instagram and all our fellow van lifers. We would not have had the heart to pick up the camera and keep filming if it wasn’t for you.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. It was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????

We’re Marianne & Chris, a happily married couple from the UK. Marianne is a living kidney donor to her best friend, and realising that life was for living and never really knowing what’s round the corner - we decided to fulfil our dream of travelling full time.
So in March 2018 after the kids had left home, we sold our belongings, rented our house and moved into our campervan called Trudy. We set off to see the world and after vanlifing around Ireland and Europe, we grabbed our backpacks and spent 5 months exploring Central America.
Feeling like we needed a challenge, we planned the ultimate van life adventure! In Jan 2020 set off to drive around the World from UK to UK. But after arriving in Turkey, covid caught up with us and closed the borders, so we had a wonderful 18 months exploring this special country. Realising we were not going to be able to head further East, we decided to do a handbrake turn and go the other way and shipped our van to the USA.
We hope you enjoy coming with us, and we’ll continue to share our real adventures and hope you feel inspire to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
BACK TO VAN LIFE
We are reunited with our van in Romania and get back to van life! After almost 10 weeks in Nepal, our trip has come to an end, we make the big journey back to Romania to collect our Transit van that's been sitting in an airport car park for over 2 months but not without a stop to Dubai for 12 hours!! We are worried about the van and hope everything is ok on return! A big thanks to Seb for showing us around Dubai!

If you're new here - welcome and so we're happy to have ya here!! We are Lost In Transit aka Tom and Iz - we normally live in a Ford Transit Van and travel around Europe. We recently left our van in a Romanian airport car park and spontaneously booked flights to Nepal to backpack for a while! After almost 10 weeks in Nepal, our journey has come to an end here for now. We head back to Romania to be reunited with our van, with a pit stop in Dubai for 12 hours!
Who are we? ????????♀️
We're Tom and Iz, a young couple from Cornwall, the UK, who live and travel full time in our van La Bamba. We decided to take a break from the van for a while and go backpacking! We love nature and try to spend as much time as possible wild swimming, hiking and being outdoors! 10 years ago we had a whirlwind summer romance, then went our separate ways to travel and go to university and fast forward 4 years later, we found ourselves back in the same place at the same time as each other and the rest is history.

Today our van almost caught on fire as we tried to install our propane stove. Although the fire could have been much worse we're lucky to still have our van and our lives.

This week of vanlife was the craziest one so far, if you just read the title and though what , we don't blame you, but we promise, if you watch the whole video, we did swim from Michigan to North Carolina!!! Besides that, Kalee almost catches our van on fire, luckily we did a good job on protecting our electrical system. And to top it all off, we got a big surprise while cleaning the toilet ????

In this video we are Filming Our Van Catching On Fire While Installing A Propane Stove. This one one of the scariest events that occured while we were converting our van into a tiny home. We accidently caught the van on fire.
We're Tenaj & Tino, a married travel couple from New Orleans. 4 years ago we quit our jobs and sold everything to travel the world. We lived in Malaysia for year and travelled extensively through Southeast Asia with then our 13 yr old son. After leaving Southeast Asia, we decided to become professional house sitters, so for 3 years now we have been traveling the world house sitting pets, plants and homes. We've house sat some amazing homes all over Mexico, Central America and South America!
Life After Corona Virus / Covid-19
Now that the Corona Virus has stalled international travel, we decided to purchase, and convert a Mercedes Benz 2500 Sprinter Van while living in New Orleans, so that we can travel all over the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America and all over the world if possible! HE ALMOST SET THE VAN ON FIRE! The Ups & Downs of Full Time Vanlife
Yes, Bradford almost set the van on fire. This vlog show the ups and downs of living full time vanlife. We're STILL in Ontario, this place is huge! Thankfully it's full of beautiful vanlife campsites surrounded by Lake Superior. We of course have some van life cooking going on in here, I'll show you one of our favorite meals! Doing Canadian van life you really get to see the remote areas as well as the big cities and everything in between.

We're Bradford and Chels we have two yorkies Jasper and Dexter. We're from Nova Scotia and have been together 8 years. We have always wanted to travel but only made it about half way across Canada.
