St Vincent and the Grenadines - Where is St Vincent and the Grenadines located - Our Vacation

Seven days on the beautiful island of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Exploring this enchanting island with my wife, after being gone for 31 years. There are so to do and so many places to visit in St Vincent and the Grenadines , a seven days vacation may not be enough time.

Here are some of the amazing places we visited during our stay on Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Enjoy the falls at Dark View Falls, the Botanical Gardens in Kingstown, Port of Kingston, the beaches and restaurants on Indian Bay and Young Island, St. George’s Anglican Cathedral, St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Kingston Methodist Church, Kingston Fish Market, Kingstown, Fort Charlotte, Arnos Vale Sports Complex, Paradise Beach, La Soufriere,

Driving on Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was relative easy and safe once we realized that they drive on the left side of the road. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a great place to visit. I recommend visiting the island once or twice because there are so much history, beauty, couture and great food to be had.

You will see all this and more in my video, from the air port to the hotel on Young Island and all the other adventures we enjoyed so much on St Vincent and the Grenadines during our vacation.

Exploring St. Vincent during covid | Walking the Street of Kingstown

#StVincentandthegrenadines #travelingduringcoronavirus #StVincent #ExploringSt.Vincentduringcovid #WalkingtheStreetofKingstown

After spending three weeks in paradise, we headed to the mainland St. Vincent to explore. Bequia, we will see you soon! After arriving at St. Vincent and checking into our stay, we settled in and started exploring the very next day.

In this video, we will be exploring St. Vincent during covid and walking the Street of Kingstown.

We explored the streets of Kingstown, St Vincent. We had an enjoyable time visiting the vendors, the central market, and the churches. Oh, our lunch at the Stop Light restaurant and bar was delicious. When visiting you definitely should have lunch here.

Today was a special day because we were recognized by one of our YouTube subscribers for the very first time. She was adorable. I teased her for recognizing Kenny and not me. LOL

Don’t forget that you will need an international driver’s permit to drive in St. Vincent.

*Driving in St Vincent and Grenadines-
A local driver’s license is required to drive on St Vincent and is obtainable at Police Headquarters in Kingstown on the production of your own driving license and two passport photos. Your rental company should be able to arrange it for you too. The cost appears to be $100EC.

► WHO WE ARE?

We are Gladys and Kenny, from Long Island, NY. We've always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018 we downsized and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream, to travel full time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until it prepared us for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently did so with vlogs on YouTube and Social Media.

#Wefoundparadise #Unionisland #mopionisland #stvincent #Stvincentandthegrenadines

Just want to inform you We Found Paradise in St. Vincent and the Grenadines | Union Island.

That’s right, we are still Island hopping and having a blast. In the last video, we visit the tiny Island of Mayreau where only 300 people live. Now we are visiting Union Island. We go on a boat tour to visit Mopion Island. It’s the most beautiful place. The island just houses an umbrella in the middle of it. We enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pristine waters. We even enjoyed a delicious lunch. After 3 hours of hanging out at Mopion Island, we left. Our next stop was Petit St. Vincent, and we passed Palm Island. Before heading back to Union Island, we stopped by Happy Island for a drink. We had a smoothie and met the owner of happy Island. What an unforgettable day!!

Hope you enjoyed Island hopping with us!

In this episode, we left the Island of Turtles (Canouan) and we are on our way to one of the best islands to visit, Mayreau. That's right we are on our way to another beautiful Island. Mayreau Island is one of the best islands that you can visit during covid. We were excited to be visiting. The island is tiny and only 300 people live there. While in Mayreau we took a day tour to the Tobago Cays. It was so much fun! We then explored the Island. We strolled through the town, visited a church and Salt Whistle Bay. Salt Whistle Bay is one of our top three beaches we have visited! We had the best time in Mayreau and will definitely visit again. We are having a blast exploring the Grenadines.

The Grenadines - One of the most popular film sets of Pirates of the Caribbean

Much more Caribbean than on the islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is hardly possible. Deserted beaches, uninhabited islands, lush vegetation, the 33 islands in total are dreamlike with extremely hospitable inhabitants.

Miranda Phillips runs a laundry and water boat on Bequia. Every morning, the 32-year-old navigates from yacht to yacht with her small bright green service vehicle and is already expected by most skippers. Miranda promises radiantly fresh laundry, which she delivers again the same day. And so there is always something going on in her tiny laundrette in the harbour. It turns into a karaoke bar in the evening, because that is Miranda's great passion.

Eban Olliver has many jobs at once. He is the lighthouse keeper of Kingstown. And that means a lot of responsibility in St. Vincent's biggest port city. Because Eban doesn't just change the light bulbs, he's a pilot dispatcher, harbour master and guard all in one person. First contact with ships is particularly important. Once he even saved the entire nation from an Ebola virus.

Sargeant Brothers Model Boat Shop is a small shipyard run by Tim Sargeant and exists since 1966. Tim insists that his company is the original and all others are just freeloaders. And indeed, his boats really stand out. Perfectly finished, true to detail and even sailable. Right now a large sailing yacht has to be finished for a customer from the USA. A splendid piece for almost 4,000 dollars.

Omar McInnes is a scuba diver on Canouan. He goes into the water, even in heavy seas. His two colleagues secure him from a small boat. It's a tough job, because Omar has to go down pretty deep. But it's worth it, the price for the so-called conch is stable high and the three friends can live well from it.

Carlos Peters is Boat Boy in the dream scenery of the Tobago Cays, on whose beaches Johnny Depp has already lain in a frenzy. Parts of the film Pirates of the Caribbean were shot on the uninhabited islands. For many sailors a destination of longing, they anchor by the hundreds between the picture book islands. And Carlos offers service of all kinds: fresh pineapple, cool beer, freshly caught lobsters or rolls for breakfast.

Henrik Siemer, from near Oldenburg, is a volunteer for a unique garden project on St. Vincent. Mostly single mothers without a job learn in courses how to cultivate a piece of land to be able to provide for themselves with their garden and even sell fruit and vegetables at the market. All this is done ecologically and without chemicals, which is not a matter of course at St. Vincent.

Janti Ramage and his partner Rolanda Small run the so-called Happy Island, an artificial island in the sea off Union Island, whose base consists of cemented conch shell shells. The idea came to Janti 20 years ago, but he underestimated the power of the elements. His bar island is in great need of care. Yet Janti would rather mix the typical cocktail of the area all day long: Rum punch with freshly grated nutmeg.

St Vincent and the Grenadines

St. Vincent is one of the islands that make up the nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and is an incredible place to vacation or visit that is not too expensive or touristy. Some of the Grenadine islands like Mustique can be expensive but this is not the case with St. Vincent. English is the main language spoken here, and there are a number of hotels, restaurants, and attractions for visitors to enjoy.
