Hello guys I have traveled to Bangladesh a few months ago, I am presenting some pictures of you in front of me 10 beautiful places of Bangladesh.

1 - University of Dhaka - The University of Dhaka, is the oldest university in modern Bangladesh. Established in 1921 during the British Raj, it has made significant contributions to the modern history of Bangladesh

Places -
Curzon Hall - The Curzon Hall is a British Raj-era building and home of the Faculty of Science at the University of Dhaka

Shaheed Minar, Dhaka - The Shaheed Minar is a national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to commemorate those killed during the Bengali Language Movement demonstrations of 1952 in then East Pakistan

Bangladesh National Museum - The Bangladesh National Museum, originally established on 20 March 1913, albeit under another name, and formally inaugurated on 7 August 1913, was accorded the status of the national museum of Bangladesh on 17 November 1983

Ahsan Manzil - Ahsan Monjil was the official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka. The building is situated at Kumartoli along the banks of the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Construction was started in 1859 and was completed in 1872. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. It has been designated as a national museum.

Dhakeshwari Temple - Dhakeshwari National Temple is a Hindu temple in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is state-owned, giving it the distinction of being Bangladesh's 'National Temple'. The name Dhakeshwari means Goddess of Dhaka.

National Martyrs' Memorial ( Jatiyo Sriti Shoudho ) - National Martyrs’ Memorial is the national monument of Bangladesh, set up in the memory of the valour and the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. The monument is located in Savar, about 35 km north-west of the capital, Dhaka.It was designed by Syed Mainul Hossain.

Jamuna Future Park - Jamuna Future Park is a shopping mall in Dhaka, and the largest shopping mall in Bangladesh as well as in all Asia Largest shopping mall in Asia with a gross leasable area of 1,614,586 square feet. It was inaugurated on 6 September 2013

Cox's Bazar - Cox's Bazar is a town, a fishing port and district headquarters in Bangladesh. The beach in Cox's Bazar is an unbroken 120 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope, one of the world's longest

St. Martin's Island - St. Martin's Island is a small island in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf peninsula, and forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh

Sajek Valley - Sajek Valley is an emerging tourist spot in Bangladesh situated among the hills of Kasalong range of mountains in Sajek union, Baghaichhari Upazila in Rangamati District. The valley is 2000 feet above sea level.

The Sundarbans - Sundarban is a natural region in southern Bangladesh and the extreme southern part of the Indian state of West Bengal in the vast river delta on the Bay of Bengal. It is the largest single block of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world. The Sundarbans covers approximately 10,000 square kilometres (3,900 sq mi) most of which is in Bangladesh with the remainder in India.The Sundarbans is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[5]

Sundarbans South, East and West are three protected forests in Bangladesh. This region is densely covered by mangrove forests, and is the largest reserves for the Bengal tiger. The Sundarbans National Park is a National Park, Tiger Reserve, and a Biosphere Reserve located in the Sundarbans delta in the Indian state of West Bengal.

Rangamati- Rangamati is a district in south-eastern Bangladesh. It is a part of the Chittagong Division and the town of Rangamati serves as the headquarters of the district. Area-wise, Rangamati is the largest district of the country

Kuakata sea beach - Kuakata is a town known for its panoramic sea beach. It is located in south-eastern Bangladesh, and is the number two tourist destination in the country. Kuakata beach is a sandy expanse 18 kilometres (11 mi) long and 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) wide.[3] From the beach one can have an unobstructed view of both sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal.

1. Cox’s Bazar
Cox’s Bazar is the longest unbroken sandy beach in the world, 125 km in length. It is the most popular tourist spot among the locals in Bangladesh. Perfect place to relax in the end of a long trip. To avoid the crowd, stay on a resort with their own private beach. The Wholesale Fish Market in Cox’s Bazar comes as number one on our list of the best places to visit in Bangladesh.

2. Sundarbans Mangrove Forest

Sundarbans in the largest mangrove forest on earth and UNESCO world heritage site. Sundarbans is located in between two neighboring countries – Bangladesh and India. Majority of forest is located in Bangladesh. It is home of the last remaining Bengal tigers in the world and many other wildlife. Environment of Sundarbans is tranquilizing and visiting this forest could be an once in a lifetime experience.

3. St. Martin’s Island
St. Martin’s Island is a beautiful coral island of Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh. For the beach lovers, this is the best place to visit in Bangladesh.


4. Srimangal
Srimangal is the tea capital of Bangladesh, located in the eastern part of the country. You’ll find lush green tea gardens anywhere you go here. This is one of the few places in the country where if you look around, you may not find any other people anywhere except you. A really nice and calm place. Cycling through the trails inside the tea plantations here could be one of the best thing you can do in Bangladesh.

5. Rangamati

Rangamati is a district of Chittagong Hill-Tracts area. Main reason to visit the place is the Kaptai Lake. It is a naturally beautiful man made lake surround by beautiful hills. Best thing to do at Rangamati is enjoying boat ride in the Kaptai Lake for the whole day. Rangamati is also home of many tribal groups. You can visit their handicraft market here to buy some fine quality handmade fabrics. There is a Buddhist monastery called Rajban Bihar which is also worth visiting.
6. Sylhet
Sylhet is a naturally beautiful place in the north-eastern part of Bangladesh, close to the Meghalaya state of India. It has many beautiful places to visit. Green-water canal Lalakhal, stone collecting area Jaflong, Ratargul swamp forest, and many of its tea gardens are the attractions to visit Sylhet.

7.  Somapura Mahavihar, Paharpur
In the north-western part of Bangladesh, there is a tiny little Place called Paharpur, which holds the most impressive archeological site I Bangladesh called Somapuri MahabhiHara, a UNESCO world heritage sitek.


8. Lalbagh Fort, Dhaka
The construction of the Lalbagh fort was started in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah the son of the emperor Aurangzeb and later emperor himself. It is an incomplete fort 17th century Mughal complex in Dhaka . The architecture of this fort attracts many tourists .

9. Sixty Dome Mosque, Dhaka
The Sixty Dome Mosque known as Shait Gambuj Mosque , It is one of the largest mosque and built in Sultanate period . The construction of the masque as started in 1442 and it was completed in 1459 . The mosque is usually used for prayers and also

Sonargaon was a historic administrative, commercial and maritime centre in Bengal. Situated in the centre of the Ganges delta, it was the seat of the medieval Muslim rulers and governors of eastern Bengal.

Old Dhaka (in Bengali, পুরান ঢাকা ) is a term used to refer to the historic old city of Dhaka, the capital of modern Bangladesh.
It was founded in 1608 as Jahangir Nagar, the capital of Mughal Bengal. It was one of the largest and most prosperous cities of South Asia and the center of the worldwide muslin trade.

The Nawab of Bengal shifted the capital from Dhaka to Murshidabad in the early-18th century.
With the rise of Calcutta (now Kolkata) during the British rule, Dhaka began to decline and came to be known as the City of Magnificent Ruins. The British however began to develop the modern city from the mid-19th century.

Old Dhaka is famous for its variety of foods and amicable living of all religion people together.
The main Muslims festival here is Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha and Muharram, Hindu festivals are Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Rathyatra and Janmashtami, Christian festival Christmas and Easter Sunday, and Buddhist Festival is Vesak.
The all religion festival here is Shakrain(পৌষ সংক্রান্তি)and Halkhata(হালখাতা) with much splendor and devotion in this part of Dhaka.
Muslims are main population here, second Hindu,third Christian and Buddhist.

Nilgiri or Nil Giri or Neelgiri is one of the tallest peaks and beautiful tourist spots in Bandarban, Bangladesh. Nilgiri is about 3500 feet high and situated at Thanchi Thana of Bandarban district in Bangladesh. Nilgiri is about 46 km south of Bandarban on the Bandarban-Chimbuk-Thanchi road.
