The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa in southwestern Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field near Grindavík and in front of Mount Þorbjörn on Reykjanes Peninsula, in a location favourable for geothermal power, and is supplied by water used in the nearby Svartsengi geothermal power station.

ICELAND 2020 Travel Video- Stunning Trip -Reykjavik, Golden Circle + South Coast Tour

My mum got me this trip to Iceland as a present for my 21st birthday.
Day 1- Arrived in Iceland in the early hours, enjoyed the beautiful journey into Reykjavik and then travelled to the blue lagoon where we stayed into the sun was well beneath the skyline, early night when we got back.
Day 2- We did the golden circle on a tour bus this day, which brought us around Thingvellir National park, Geysir Geothermal area and Gullfoss Waterfall, our northern lights tour that night was unfortunately cancelled due to bad snow storms predicted, so instead we headed around Reykjavik city to explore and got some dinner in a restaurant
Day 3- We took a trip down along the south coast today, we did this with a smaller group of people in a small minivan, stops included Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Skogafoss waterfall, black sand beach and Soleimajökull glacier, in which we also opted to do the glacier hike, which was amazing. This trip lasted all day and when we arrived back in Reykjavik went straight for food and drinks.
Day 4- This was the last day, so we made sure to keep it free, we took this time to explore Reykjavik city and all its gems, from Hallgrimskirkja to the Harpa Concert hall, from the pond to ocean, from the coffee shops to the funky streets. We ended our exploring with some food and then travelled to the airport in the late evening.
