In this Miami tourist video we show you all the great things to do in Miami. We provide you with the best Miami tips and travel information as well as seeking out Hidden gems many of which only the locals know about.
This travel guide to Miami will be the only video you will need to watch to maximise your Miami holiday .
The first place we visit in this Miami travel video is the symbolic South Beach which is located on Miami Beach. Miami’s South Beach has become one of the most popular beach front locations in the world. With its famous beach front hotels, clubs, crystal clear waters and white sand beach this is an attraction suitable for anyone and a great place to have a Miami Beach party.
Running parallel to South Beach is Ocean Drive. A strip filled with restaurants, Art Deco hotels, Bars and clubs. While on Ocean Drive we visit the fun and lively Mangos Tropical Cafe which provides non-stop entertainment with its live performances, colourful interior, signature cocktails and friendly staff. We also show you all the great miami nightlife that happens on Ocean Drive which helps you understand why so many people turn up here after the sunset.
As we leave Miami’s Ocean Drive we come to one of the largest collections of street art in the world, the Miami Wynwood walls district. This district provides its visitors with some of the best street art from famous artist around the world.
We then go Lincoln Road where you will find a road filled with over 200 retailers including souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and tour companies taking you to many of the places seen in this video on the Miami tourist bus. At the end of Lincoln road we take you to a great hidden gem known as the Delano Hotel and beach club where you discover what makes this hotel so special.
Heading on over to a more quiet part to Miami we arrive at the lovely Key Biscayne. This is the perfect place to get away from the lively and busy city of Miami to relax and have a picnic on the beach or in the park. There is also the Cape Florida Light house which we head into and take you to the top to discover stunning panoramic views over Miami City.
We now head over to Little Havana where you will find Miami’s largest community of Cubans lining the streets with their Latin shops, street art, restaurants and cafes. You can even join them for a game of Dominos at the local domino park.
For History enthusiasts we bring you to the lovely Vizcaya Museum and Gardens where you find out why this 6 Billion dollar mansion attracts so much attention and for plant and garden lovers we take you to the Fairchild Botanical gardens where you can learn about all plant life as well as come across some rather large reptiles.
Saving the best for last on our Miami top 10 things to do we take you on a Miami boat tour with Captain Joe’s Boat Rentals across gorgeous clear waters where you can enjoy water sports, famous Miami boat parties, fishing and sight seeing some of the worlds biggest celebrity houses while enjoying a nice cold drink and some food with your friends and family.

Pinecrest is located 25 Miles north of Yosemite Park's boundary, and is a 2 hour drive.
Pinecrest Recreation Area is located at Pinecrest Lake, a 300-acre lake owned and operated by Pacific, Gas and Electric Company. It is located 30 miles east of Sonora on State Highway 108. The Recreation Area lies in a timbered setting at an elevation of 5,600 feet. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife regularly stocks Pinecrest Lake with rainbow trout. Groceries and other services are available at the Pinecrest commercial center. Recreational opportunities available at the Pinecrest Recreation Area include:
Three hundred campsites with tables, grills, flush toilets and potable water in two campgrounds.

This grove is located off of Tioga Pass road and is home to several mature Giant Sequoia’s including one that you can walk through. This grove is lesser known than the Mariposa Grove and is a downhill hike. If you are someone who likes to avoid crowds, this may be the grove for you.

Think Yosemite Valley is a secluded get away? Wait until you see White Wolf, this Lodge is beautifully located in a wildflower filled meadow surrounded by pine trees.
Badger Pass is open winter only and when there is snow. The park has a variety of fun snow activities to keep you and the kids busy. These activities range from downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snow tubing, and snowshoeing. There is a shuttle that conveniently runs to and from the Valley to Badger Pass to make your visit as easy as possible.
Outside of the Eastern Entrance of the Park you will find The Mobil. This is an awesome restaurant that serves great mango margaritas and has live music. It is a locals hot spot during the summer.
Every other Tuesday in the summer just outside of the Northern Entrance in El Portal, Sal's Taco Truck comes to feed the locals. This is a great social event and they usually have live music and dancing on the grass.
If you drive south on the 395 outside of the Park you can find the Mammoth Hot Springs. This is a killer excursion if you are into soaking in a secluded hot tub in the middle of the High Sierras. Plan to car camp next to the hot springs if you want to see more stars than you've ever seen before and get in a steamy soak before the sun rises.

Camping at Pinecrest Lake, Summer 2023
Our very first camping trip of the year at Pinecrest Campground was a total blast! Pinecrest provided us with great views and fun activities. Everything we wanted to do was right there, and within walking distance. They even had a cute coffee shop, a general store with all the essentials, and a cool amphitheater! They had tons of stuff you could rent like bikes, kayaks, motorboats, and paddleboats by the hour. The restrooms were well kept, and our neighbors were super chill. Pinecrest Gardens, listed on the National Historic Register, spans 11 acres and features over 1,000 varieties of rare and exotic tropical plants in a native tropical hardwood and cypress setting.
Pinecrest Gardens originated as Parrott Jungle in the 1930’s until it was moved to Watson Island in 2002.
Centuries-old oak trees tower alongside native cypress and palm trees providing a shaded relaxing stroll. The lower gardens include a remnant old-growth Bald cypress slough where you can see the prominent cypress knees.
Bordering the Meadow and Swan Lake are two elevated dry gardens that include shrubs, succulents, and cacti.
A large banyan grows at the center of the gardens. If allowed to grow without restraint, it would form a multi-acre grove. This one was planted more than 70 years ago.
As you make your way to the observation tower, you are greeted with an expansive view of the garden landscape.
Strolling the garden, you’ll come across various wildlife such as fish, birds, turtles, and lizards.
In the gardens, you'll find various works of art like La Danse-Homage to Matisse by Brazillian artist Alice Pittaluga.
As your visit ends, large wooden sculptures of trolls, Berta and Terje bid you adieu.
