Birgunj to Hetauda
Hetauda (Nepali: हेटौडा, is a sub-metropolitan city in the Makwanpur District of Bagmati Province in central Nepal. It is the administrative headquarters of the Makwanpur District and the capital of Bagmati Province as declared by majority (105 out of 110) Provincial Assembly Members on 12 January 2020. It is one of the largest cities of Nepal. At the time of the 2015 Nepal census, it had a population of 153,875 people.
Hetauda sub-metropolitan city is situated in the confluence of the two prominent national highways viz. Tribhuvan highway and Mahendra highway. It was declared a municipality in 1969 A.D (2026 B.S), but development was sluggish. Momentum increased when the city became headquarters of the Makwanpur district in 1982A.D (2039 B.S). It is regarded as a Green city because the city has planted trees on either sides of the road.
Manakamana Temple Hetauda | Place to Visit in Nepal
This temple is said to be the younger sister of Gorkha Manakamana. It is a sacred temple of Hindus. Route to this temple is famous for jugging. It is in on the top of a hill from where the beautiful scene of Hetauda city can be viewed.

Jurethum | Hatiya Hetauda | Place to Visit in Hetauda.
Jurethum located at Hatiya, Makwanpur, is a best tourist attraction. The Hatiya ,Jurethum Tourism Area Development Committee has been engaged for tourism development in Jurethum. After a few minutes of hiking up the steep dirt path from Hatiya Chowk (Ghabisa chowk ), the Jurethum tourist area begins. In view of those arriving at the picnic, 3 picnic spot have been constructed and drinking water, toilets are under construction. Near the top of the picnic there is the temple of Shiva. Another fascinating aspect of the Jurethum is the statue of Lord Krishna in full stature. The 42-foot-tall Krishna statue, which started construction almost three years ago, claims to be the largest statue in Nepal. It has been almost three years since the construction began. Ram Prasad Timalsina from Nijgadh is preparing an Idol or (Lord Krishna statue) of a contract worth Nrs 12 lakhs 56 thousand or (1.256 million ). In front of the Krishna temple, a magnificent statue Trisul has been made. The view of the Krishna idol can be seen from around 5 meters above.
