Exclusively Reveal secret of queen's Valley & Is QV66 Nefertari tomb worth the ticket explained

Unparalleled beauty QV66 Nefertari tomb (1)
This series of videos will take you through the Valley of the Queens in Luxor, Egypt and 4 tombs from the 19th and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom. They may be the most comprehensive and detailed explanation and guide for Queens Valley on the entire network.

Episode 1: an exclusive reveal of the secrets of the location of the Queens Valley, a comprehensive understanding of the history and landforms of the Queens Valley, as well as the number and conditions of the tombs in the valley. Background information on QV66 Nefertari tomb, the most beautiful tomb from ancient Egypt, exclusive and most comprehensive information on the closure and reopening of this treasure house of art, and sharing my personal experience of visiting QV66 Nefertari tomb.

1:40 : Exclusive opinion regarding why the location of Queen's Valley
8:54 : Is QV66 Nefertari tomb worth the highest priced ticket explained

If it weren't for the love poem of Ramses II: For she is the most beautiful woman alive. Just by passing, she has stolen away my heart. “
If not for the sake of admiring the beauty of Nefertari. I would think twice about paying for such expensive permit. Actually, before I entered the tomb chamber. I still doubted in my mind if it's worth such investment.

In my opinion, if you could only visit one ancient Egyptian tomb in the west bank of Luxor. It must be QV66 the tomb of Nefertari.

Although the permit price is the highest among all Egyptian attractions, you will never regret your decision.

Most of the material wealth that accompanies our life is finally turned into once owned, and the spiritual wealth once owned will become an eternal beautiful memory. The time inside the the tomb of Nefertari belonged to the latter. Although it was short, I will never forget it. No matter when and where it is recalled, it will make people travel through time and space in an instant and reunite with those wonderful and warm moments.

That's why I created this series of videos especially to share these wonderful moments with those who are connected.

In the next episode, I will explain to you the structure inside QV66 and the sceneries along the way of the Queen's journey to the afterlife.

Forbidden Tunnel inside the Bent Pyramid of Dahshur

When I was alone inside the Bent Pyramid which is located in Dahshur south of Giza and the Great Pyramid, I noticed a door that was locked. It had a hole in the fence so I decided to climb through to see what is inside.
I found myself in a long and steep passage and there was a pit which was covered with wooden planks. Also there was a very strong wind coming from this tunnel.
On the right side there was a white limestone block that was sticking out of the floor which made it look very special.
I continued to walk inside the tunnel and I switched off my flash light to see if there was any light coming from the end of the passage. It was pitch black dark.

What’s that under the Great Pyramid?

????Join me May 17-28, 2023 for the Megalithic Marvels of Egypt Tour

On the Megalithic Marvels of Egypt tour we were privileged to receive a 2 hour long after-hours visit inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. Upon entering the descending passage, our first big stop was to visit the subterranean chamber - the basement of the Great Pyramid! I was taken back by how long and steep this passage leading down underneath the pyramid was (approx 300+ ft). While the higher passageways & chambers were lined and finished with precision megalithic blocks, the passage leading down was unfinished in that it was cut straight from the bedrock. Once we reached the bottom, the passageway leveled out & we had to literally crawl on our hands and knees through thick pyramid dust the final section (approx 10 yards) before entering the subterranean chamber. This chamber seemed essentially like a big square with 3 levels - the upper level with smallish cutouts or storage type areas, the main level which featured this circular fence, which in turn, sealed us off from the lower level which is a massive pit with a squared out bottom that featured what appeared to be a nubbed circle popping up in the center of it. What do you think the purpose of this pit was? I will share my theories in more videos coming soon… on the far side of the main level was another tight passageway that led to another smallish room.

Unparalleled beauty QV66 Nefertari tomb (2)
This series of videos will take you through the Valley of the Queens in Luxor, Egypt and 4 tombs from the 19th and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom. They may be the most comprehensive and detailed explanation and guide for Queens Valley on the entire network.

Episode 2: In this video, Firstly I will give you the background information you should know before touring the tomb of Nefertari. Secondly, the challenges that most tourists will encounter when visiting the site and the ways to overcome them. The last section is the information about the structure of the tomb chambers.
00:21 : the background information about Nefertari
02:38 : the challenges that most tourists will encounter when visiting the site and the ways to overcome them.
06:19 : the information about the structure of the tomb chambers.

In ancient Egypt, few royal women were more favored than Ramses II's grand queen Nefertari, and few could have played a more important role in the king's administration. Nefertari married him before Ramses took the throne. Nefertari was thirteen and Ramses was fifteen when they married. As the chief wife of Ramses, mother of the eldest son, confidant and political assistant, she accompanied him for 26 years.

According to the regulations of the Antiquities Office, each tourist can only stay in the tomb for a maximum of 10 minutes and the guiding service is not allowed. According to my experience, most tourists will feel at a loss when faced with such fascinating and rich murals and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Almost no tourists would take their time to do a preview study before the tour, and there is no such information available online for reference. Even the guide book sold at the entrance of the queen’s valley contains some wrong information. But as long as you watch this episode 10 times before the tour, I am sure you could easily overcome above mentioned challenges and enjoy your tour inside of the tomb in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

Life and love are the eternal themes. The limited time span of our life makes love seem extremely precious. And love has the power to elevate our limited life. The tomb of Nefertari is an ideal place to ponder and comprehend such themes.

This series of videos would be powerful references helping you understand the tomb murals and the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians about faith and life through these fascinating scenes of the journey to the afterlife. They would enable you to have a dialogue with these time particles that have traveled through 3200 years in a calm and immersive way, and use them as a medium to sneak into the spiritual world of Nefertari and feel her joys and sorrows.
Such as the sweet heartbeat memories of Nefertari and Ramses the Great in her past life, the unbreakable love and affection at the time of life and death, her calm and graceful demeanor when She faced the challenges of the afterlife journey alone and paid her respect in front of the gods.

In the next episode, I will offer you an exclusive guided tour into the tomb chambers of QV66, the tomb of Nefertari.

Valley of the Queens in Egypt

This Ancient Egyptian Queen is Smaller Than a Tennis Ball

The bust of Queen Tiye is located in the Egyptian museum in Berlin, Germany.
Tiy was the spouse of King Amenhotep III and mother of Akhenaten. This small portrait was probably produced in the last years of rule of her husband because the queen is shown at an advanced age. The artist produced a realistic face which captures the personality of Tiy: Intelligent, determined and assertive, all qualities which are also evident through historic-literary sources. After the death of Amenhotep III and still in the lifetime of Tiy the head was reworked, the originally head scarf of silver with the gold uraeus was covered with several layers of linen which were decorated with small faience beads. A crown consisting of a sundisc, cow horns and a pair of feathers was added separately.
This type of crown is usually worn by goddesses or deified queens. By adding this crown to the statue Akhenaton raised his mother, already in her lifetime, into the realm of a goddess.
