Hi guys! My name is Lavanya!
So a friend of mine from Czech Republic recently visited India and I promised him to get some unique experiences when he comes to Delhi. So we felt it could be really interesting to see how it feels like to get a super cheap street side Indian style (Desi) haircut, a perfect sneak peak into the life of any common man in the country, for just 40 rupees (that's less than a dollar) right amidst the bustle of the capital city of India.
Apologies for the bad video quality and endless honking in the background (Well, this is Delhi!). This is my first ever shot at making and editing a video (with my phone) but I hope you guys enjoy it!

If there is one thing I learned from video making, it's that there is ALWAYS two sides of the coin.
And I do my best to show that in most scenarios, whether it's the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or affordability of the Philippines. Naturally, this is my second take on prices in New York. Because, well, New York is as expensive as you want it to be but ALSO as cheap as you want it to be.
It's crazy that a billionaire could live 5 minutes away from a high school teacher in this city. Therefore, come visit! :)

WHEN IT GETS LONELY | Nas Daily
I took one Harvard Business School class and I only remember learning one thing. The rest I forgot. I made a video about it because it's now more important than ever for me....and probably for you too.
In almost everything you build, you will have to cross the gap of loneliness before you reach the millions of people (the late adopters).
For Nas Daily, that gap was a stretch of 100+ days of putting lots of effort for no tangible reward. Nas Daily gap was real (and expected). Luckily the recent explosion in my videos has pushed the page beyond that gap to reach the masses. But most projects die in that gap. You just gotta be crazy enough to keep on pushing forward.
This is not meant to be inspirational, but I am sure a few people could use a reminder of this.

I Found Heaven | Nas Daily
As some of you know, it took 7 days of trekking and an Everest flight attempt to try and see the Himalayan Peaks in person. Sadly, weather wasn't on my side. But on the last flight out of Nepal, boom! Right there, the mountain range was right there! It was, as some say, the closest to Heaven you'll ever see on Earth.
So, naturally, I had to make an entire day about it using the music soundtrack of one of my favorite musicians in the world: Yann Tiersen.

I was walking around last night when I saw a street musician play in front of a passed out drunk guy. I started filming when suddenly a group of guys got into my camera frame and started singing. Only in New York.
I loved the spontaneity of it so much I had to make it today's minute.
