We're off -Start of our Overlanding VANLIFE Adventure drive around the world.
After 6 months of preparations we are finally off and starting our Overlanding Vanlife Adventure of a lifetime as we attempt to drive around the world in our 15 year old Fiat Ducato campervan called Trudy.
We had a great send off from family and friends both old and new and thank everyone for their support and words of encouragement.

Getting our campervan ready for our drive around the world | How to remove old decals S3E02
In this episode we start getting our campervan Trudy ready for our drive around the world. The first thing we wanted to do was rebrand Trudy. She has lots of old decal stickers that came as part of her original branding. We show you how to remove old decals quickly and easily. You'll love the new branding . - one things for sure if Trudy passed on on the road you won't miss her.
So with branding done we need to do the most important thing and make sure that Trudy is ready for the trip and so we head down to our local garage and start putting a plan together.

This is 'Trudy' our tiny home on wheels & Fiat Ducato conversion. In this episode we give you a van tour of our tiny house. 18 months ago, we quit our jobs and we moved into our van and have loved every minute of it. We will be driving this van around the world - starting in Jan 2020.
This is the most challenging ADVENTURE VANLIFE travel series that we have ever done and one that will definitely change us for ever more. Driving around the world is going to be both a physical and mental challenge and one that will test us to the limit.

We’re Marianne & Chris, a happily married couple from the UK. Marianne is a living kidney donor to her best friend, and realising that life was for living and never really knowing what’s round the corner - we decided to fulfil our dream of travelling full time.
So in March 2018 after the kids had left home, we sold our belongings, rented our house and moved into our campervan called Trudy. We set off to see the world and after vanlifing around Ireland and Europe, we grabbed our backpacks and spent 5 months exploring Central America.
Feeling like we needed a challenge, we planned the ultimate van life adventure! In Jan 2020 set off to drive around the World from UK to UK. But after arriving in Turkey, covid caught up with us and closed the borders, so we had a wonderful 18 months exploring this special country. Realising we were not going to be able to head further East, we decided to do a handbrake turn and go the other way and shipped our van to the USA.
We hope you enjoy coming with us, and we’ll continue to share our real adventures and hope you feel inspire to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
