Sailors coming inland are met with rusty metal scrap in the waters and sparse surroundings that don't give much indication of this little nation's true nature. It took a little time and searching, but we were introduced to what Suriname is hiding just behind the trees.

In this video,I shared my border crossing experiences from ????????Guyana to ????????Suriname.The name of the border in ????????Guyana side is called Molson Creek，they open everyday from 7 am to 5pm but there is only one ferry at 10am everyday, it costs 15 USD for a single trip to ????????Suriname side.
IMPORTANT:If you are not a resident of ????????Guyana and you spend less than 14 days there, you need to show a negative covid test within 72 hours.(per or antigen) to cross this border EXPECT your vaccination proof for Covid 19 and YELLOW FEVER.You need to present all these document.(2022.05.30)If you arrive ????????Suriname by air，you might just need to show your vaccination proof of covid 19.
I got a free antigen covid test in Skeldon public hospital which is about 12km before ????????Guyana border.You will receive the results in 5 mins.

I hitchhiked from Georgetown to the ????????Guyana immigration and I took shared taxi from ????????Suriname immigration to Paramaribo（25USD）,you could pay 50 USD(not include the ferry) for the whole trip from Georgetown to Paramaribo and the driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 4 am.
You could find a shared taxi easily in bus park of Georgetown.or ask any hotel for taxi drivers number.
If you travel from opposite way, from Paramaribo to Georgetown, you can also contact Twenty4 Hostel which is the hostel where I am currently doing volunteer on June 2022.

On this beatiful morning we make a drive from Kwattaweg to the Cornelis Jongbouwstraat to Compa international to top up my deal for another week and we drive back and visit Fort Zeelandia to see the statue of Wilhelmina and of course the authentic buildings from 1800 then we travel via Kerkplein to Domineestreet
Krasnapolsky Hotel , Kersten and Kirpalani via Zwartenhovenbrug street to the Dr Sopi Redmondstreet to then take a borro passie (shortcut) to Kwattaweg again .
We talk a whole lot and challenge the Suriname traffic
In a safe way and make many new friends again
While giving and getting breakes .
Suriname people are beautiful friendly and I hope you enjoy this video again ..

Vandaag vertrekken we vroeg naar de stad en bezoeken we Kirpalani om de Smartphones te checken nadat we eerst de auto in Krasnapolsky hebben geparkeerd ...
Daarna komen we Roy of Loiyd tegen die we een mazzel geven om de dag door te komen ..
Daarna gaan we Krasnapolsky checken de prijzen en het terras voor de gasten het zwembad etc om vervolgens om 10 uur de auto weer de garage uit te rijden richting Heilige weg en we verkennen de oude gedeelten en praten over van alles en nog wat , terwijl we richting Coppename straat rijden om dan naar Zorg en Hoop Airport te gaan om een broodje Bakkeljouw te reviewen van Boyke die de cantine runned van mijn vrienden van Bluewing .
We spreken ook nog even af voor maandag met de security van Gum Air om het veld te verkennen en hopelijk wat mooie plaatjes te schieten van de vliegtuigen op SMZO airport ..
Daarna snel via Uitvlugt terug om nog even mijn ouderlijk huis te checken waar ik ben opgegroeid in de Detta laan 7 -
Natuurlijk gaan we Tante Ria v Straaten groeten de moeder van mijn jeugd vrienden Glenn en Michael
en de Pukkie school die naar mij vernoemd is ????☝️
Dan rijden we terug en passeren de Glenn Waiys
School mijn oude school van de jaren 70 .
Daarna rijden we via de Gemenelandsweg via de Veldhuizenlaan de straat van Jurgen Rayman via een borropassie richting Kwatta weer naar Huis ..
Extra lange film , hoop dat u geniet .en een Like achterlaat -
