Prague scams tourists on public transport? It sounds hard to believe, but that is what dozens of tourists complain about on TripAdvisor and Google Reviews. Is it possible? Let's investigate!
Prague Public Transport is rated as one of the best public transport systems in the world. Many Czech people are proud of how cheap and efficient it is. Unfortunately, what often goes unnoticed by locals is the fact that tourists struggle with figuring out which tickets to buy and how to use them correctly. Many tourists simply rely on their instincts and mimic what they see others doing. Regrettably, this often results in them failing to validate their tickets or validating them incorrectly, leading to unpleasant encounters with public transport inspectors. Despite their efforts to do everything correctly and having paid for their tickets, they are compelled to pay fines, leaving them feeling as if they have fallen victim to one of Prague's scams.

How Good is Public Transport in The Faroe Islands? I'll try as many modes as I can in a Single Day.
I arrived in The Faroe Islands with no intention of hiring a car or taking an official tour, but would this really be possible? Join me in Tórshavn as I set out on a day of adventure. The challenge will be to try as many different modes of transport as I can so if you fancy seeing how I got on and what sights I saw along the way, let's get on the road!

I was born in Glasgow but have lived in Carnoustie, Dalgety Bay, Stonehaven, Edinburgh, Montrose, and further afield (Salamanca, Spain & Devonport, New Zealand)
WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESTINATION?
This can be difficult to pinpoint as I get most pleasure from visiting new places (and often that will be somewhere I've never even heard of). But to try and categorise it, I'd say take me to a small, cold island somewhere the beer is not too expensive and I'll be happy. Any suggestions?
WHEN DO YOU UPLOAD?
Saturdays at 10am Scottish time. Occasionally a bonus midweek video will pop up.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I film with a GoPro11 and my iPhone12. I edit on iMovie and use epidemicsound.com for music. I also use canva.com for thumbnails etc.
WHY DON'T YOU SPEND LONGER AT DESTINATIONS?
The usual suspects I'm afraid - time and money! Hotels especially these days make my eyes water like a true Scotsman.
WHERE'S ALICJA?
Alicja will feature as often as possible, but I'm afraid she has a proper job so it can take weeks for our schedules to match up.

Yes I do. I've only ever accepted a complementary ticket as compensation for a previous problem. All my opinions are frank and honest reflections of travel as I experience it.
