Did you expect this in New Zealand? When you come to New Zealand, you'll be shocked to see gangs. Gangs in New Zealand are so unafraid of the Police that they ride obnoxiously loud motorcycles so you can hear them a mile away.
They even wear a uniform which includes a gang patch, so you know which gang they're from.
This is how open and obvious organised crime is in New Zealand. And for visitors like my wife, it's shocking.
If you stay away from them, they won't bug ya. But the reality is gangs are known for the drug trade, murder, theft, violence against women, and the list goes on.
There are numerous gangs in New Zealand, of varying criminality, organisation and ethnicity, including outlaw motorcycle gangs, street gangs and ethnically based gangs. A chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club was formed in Auckland in 1961, the first Hells Angels chapter outside the US.
Soon after, the Mongrel Mob formed in Hastings and Wellington, developing into a predominantly Māori and Pacific Islander gang and having the largest membership in the country.
Through the 1960s and 1970s, other outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnically based gangs formed, including another predominantly Māori gang, Black Power (not related to the African-American movement), which grew to rival the Mongrel Mob. from Wikipedia.

Today the police are legally barred from taking strike action in support of any pay claim they may make. More and more police are asking if they should have the right to strike.
Once before in 1918-1919, police dissatisfaction ran so hight that the force came out on strike. This Week speaks to some of those former officers about whether the same could happen again.

This technology is called UPI (Unified Payment Interface) and is India's impressive instant real-time payment system.
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a real-time payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) that facilitates inter-bank transactions. It allows users to transfer money from one bank account to another instantly and securely, without the need for the recipient's bank details like account number or IFSC code.
With UPI, users can make payments using their mobile phones, without the need for cash, credit/debit cards or net banking. UPI transactions can be initiated and completed using mobile apps provided by banks or third-party payment service providers.
UPI has become a popular mode of payment in India since its launch in 2016 and is now widely used for a variety of transactions, including peer-to-peer payments, bill payments, mobile recharges, and online shopping. The success of UPI has helped promote digital payments and financial inclusion in the country.

Scam Shops in Pakistan & India - Don't Be Fooled!
While travelling in India & Pakistan you'll find shops that have straight-up copied a famous shop's name, and then, opened their store next-door to the original!
In this video, you'll see the original Grato Jalebi sweet store in Rawalpindi and there's a big queue because locals know it's legit. But just a few metres down the road are 3 copies with the same name.
Karim's in Delhi also has the same problem. There are many counterfeit Karim's restaurants.
These fake shops make enough money to stay open by simply fooling travellers.
So don't be fooled, check online reviews to verify locations. Has this ever happened to you?

Tewkesbury school stabbing: Armed police tell cowering children to hide
This is the shocking moment an armed police officer tells a group of pupils to hide at the back of a cupboard as they continue to search for a suspected knifeman.
Terrified pupils can be heard crying after they spent hours barricaded inside a cupboard at Tewkesbury Academy in Gloucestershire on Monday.
About three hours in, an armed police officer “kicked in” the door of the design and technology classroom they were being taught in before the school went into lockdown shortly after 9am.
He then tries the door of the room’s cupboard as police searched for the suspected knifeman who allegedly stabbed a teacher at the school.
