A big shout out to @khalifashema & Flares Media for making this masterpiece.

We have got a lot of questions answered yet still, a lot unanswered.

At the ward heads, when asked if we can be taken to the particular family that does the rituals, the ward head said they are meant to be kept Anonymous. I requested to visit the cave; the sacrifice alters where the guardian is they reluctantly accepted. When I asked if the creature was a human, an animal or a ghost they both giggled and gave no answer. That made my curiosity grow bigger and will make the 1-hour walk worth it. So, anxiously we decided to go see for ourselves.

[4K] Travel to Nigeria and Explore Zuma Rock with Jon as Your Tour Guide ????????

???? Zuma rock, the monolithic isolated rock with a human face, is located in Madalla Niger state to the North of Abuja, said Jon. Zuma rock is 2,379 feet above its surroundings and it was once described as the unquestionable watchman of the FCT (Federal Capital Territory Abuja). It is the sandy concealment that hangs like a haze over the Zuba town, which the Zuba people see as a form of respect being paid by the other mountains to the Zuma rock for its loyal presence in the locality. Zuma rock has natural contours on the surface which represents the image of a human face with a visible mouth, eyes, and nose.

Zuma rock was first located in thick forest by the people of Zuba and the coral. In the 15th century when they settled around the rock on getting to the forest, they settled within a mile radius around it and constructed a couple of settlements. On discovering that the rock had strong spirits they worshiped it, offered constant sacrifices, and organized festivals in honor of the rock. Thus, within its environment, this rock is regarded as the strongest idol both for its size and strong spirits. The locals of Zuba gave the rock the name “Zumwa” which means “the place of catching guineafowls” after finding out that there were many of them surrounding the rock. The Zuma rock is also portrayed in the 100 Naira notes.

Nigeria | A day at Gurara Waterfalls

simply wow we saved the best for the last. Gurara falls is well managed - there is an entrance fee of 500 naira per person. Its better to have your own means of transportation. There are different areas of the waterfall. The lookout point, the sandy shore part where you can do pinics and barbecue , the rocky front at the waterfall base where you can sunbath if you wanted.

Towards the end there is a swimming area where you can take dip. The locals fish there also so its possible to get white catfish, black catfish and some other types. We had a guide and gave him a 1000 Naira for taking us around. Absolutely a must see
