Royse City, a Texas town with the well-deserved motto of A Friendly Touch of Texas, hosts their 2020 Royse City Main Street Christmas Parade.
War, West Virginia | What The Hell Happened?
War, WV....WOW!! This is one of the most poverty stricken cities in the country! Located in McDowell County, West Virginia, this city has an estimated population of 662 and has a poverty rate of 49.5%! Driving through some of these Appalachian areas look like a war zone. On the flip side, the people for the most part were extremely friendly and crime is extremely low in this area. War was a former coal and timber camp, it was nicknamed Miner's City. After the war on coal and collapse of the economy, this place has been left devastated. The average income is less than $16,500 dollars per year. Let's take a drive and check some of it out!

We wrap up our Grand Canyon National Park travels by heading out of the park on Desert View Drive, and taking a peek at the Desert View Watchtower. Then we greet the now Instagram infamous Horseshoe Bend for an unbeatable sunset view.
Of course, we can't leave Page, Arizona without taking a tour of Antelope Canyon (and you shouldn't either!) This unique canyon is formed by a combination of winds, sand, and flash floods. The flow of these gives these tall sandstone cliffs their windswept look.

We Made A Big Mistake! | Grand Canyon National Park South Rim
I can't explain to you, and no video I've watched so far, explains it either: how breathtaking the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim is! This week, we are in Tusayan, Arizona and today is THE DAY we get to explore the Grand Canyon National Park! I am so excited to show you how to get into the park, some of the popular trails like Bright Angel Trail and South Kaibob to Ooh Aah Point trails. I made a list of places to eat and sleep if you want to spend your entire trip immersed inside this beautiful desert oasis.

Monument Valley 17 Mile Scenic Drive In Utah/ Arizona
Want to re-live some of your favorite movies? Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park has set the scene for some of the biggest films in history, including Back To The Future 3, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Easy Rider, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Mission Impossible 2.
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park has a 17 mile scenic drive along the border of Utah and Arizona. This is part of tribal land and is still inhabited by members of the Navajo Nation. Along our drive, we stood in awe at towering sandstone cliffs over 1000 ft tall, standing strong in a vast open land almost 10,000 acres wide.
After your visit to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, don't forget to check out Forrest Gump Hill, but be careful! This stretch of land has been made infamous by the blockbuster, Forrest Gump, and the view of miles-long highway with Monument Valley in the distance is a photo worthy to be hung on your wall.

Does Buc-ee’s really have Bohemian Garlic beef jerky?
They do. And it’s magnifico.
That’s not my real lede. I just am enamored of the idea of Bohemian garlic. What makes the garlic Bohemian? No idea. It must be socially unconventional.
It’s rebel garlic, operating outside the bounds of polite society, and it’s one of the best snacks at Buc-ee’s.

Hey you! Welcome to my travel day video to Grand Canyon National Park South Rim! We are starting out in Dallas, Texas where we fly out to Flagstaff, Arizona. I'll admit that Flagstaff wasn't what I expected and was so beautiful to drive around. we rented a car and drove out to Tusayan. Tusayan is the perfect place to stay if you visit the Grand Canyon South Rim because it has a direct road into the park, and only a few miles from the city center.
Be sure to visit the General store and stock up on supplies and snacks. They have everything you'll need, whether you are just visiting the South Rim Village, or taking a hiking trip into the Grand Canyon.
