Esta ciudad superó por mucho todas mis expectativas. Posadas es la capital de la provincia de Misiones y tiene mucho para ofrecer. La ciudad no es conocida para el turismo, incluso la provincia únicamente es asociada a las increíbles cataratas del Iguazú, pero Posadas tiene el potencial de una ciudad digna de visitar. Con una costanera más de deslumbrante de más de 5km, esta es la ciudad que más crece en toda la región. Naturaleza, calles arboladas y llena de flores, parece ser un centro urbano que vive en una constante primavera ¿Se van a quedar con las ganas? ¡Vamos!

Con la sabiduría de la madre tierra. Aprendiendo de la naturaleza imponente de esos lugares, que siguen estando ahí, desde hace millones de años. Adaptándose con el paso del tiempo, transformándose… subsistiendo. Viviendo los cambios para poder sobrevivir.
Con el conocimiento de las culturas ancestrales y tradiciones milenarias que la rodean. Con esas personas que siguen viviendo de la misma manera, tal como lo hacían sus antepasados, en armonía con el medio ambiente. Que tratan de dejar su menor marca posible, pero sí una huella, una señal de que existieron.
No podemos cambiar el pasado, pero sí podemos aprender de él. Podemos buscar nuestras raíces, contar con ellas y descubrir nuevas maravillas ocultas.

Travelling to EL CALAFATE: Trout with Blue Cheese & First Impressions of Town (Patagonia, Argentina)
We're finally travelling to El Calafate, the land of glaciers, icebergs and snow in Patagonia, Argentina! In this travel vlog, we'll show you the journey there. It was a 4-hour bus trip from Río Gallegos to El Calafate and we were treated to some beautiful scenery along the way, ranging from Patagonian steppe to snow-capped mountains in the horizon.
Once we arrived in town, we went in search of food and had a trout dish with blue cheese, potatoes and pasta. We ate at a restaurant called 'Isabel' that specializes in dishes cooked on a 'plough disc', which is a traditional way of cooking that has its roots in the farming and agricultural communities.
Then it was time to book some tours from El Calafate. We really wanted to visit estancias and see the glaciers up close, so we booked a few different excursions, which you'll be seeing in the next episodes!
Lastly, we'll sit down to share our first impression of El Calafate, and we'll also give you a tour of the A-frame cottage we rented in town.

Villa La Angostura, todo lo que podes hacer cerca de la ciudad - Vivamos La Patagonia
Villa la Angostura es una ciudad Argentina, ubicada al sur de la provincia de Neuquén. Es una ciudad de faldeo relativamente pequeña rodeada de bosque nativo, ubicada a 780 m s. n. m. sobre la margen este de la cordillera de los Andes. Al norte y este limita con los cerros Bayo (1.782 m), Inacayal (1.840 m) y Belvedere (1.992 m), y al sur y oeste con el lago Nahuel Huapi. Es dividida en dos por el arroyo Las piedritas.
Enclavada en el sector norte del parque nacional Nahuel Huapi, rodeada de lagos, bosques y montañas, es considerada una de las localidades más bonitas de la Patagonia cordillerana, ganándose el apodo de «Jardín de la Patagonia
En la zona denominada el puerto, se encuentra el ingreso al parque nacional Los Arrayanes. Un sendero peatonal de 12 km atraviesa toda la península Quetrihue, y permite llegar por tierra al parque nacional, donde la planta de arrayáncrece en forma de árbol y no de arbusto, formando un tupido bosque.
A pocos kilómetros se encuentra el paso fronterizo con Chile, Cardenal Samoré, y junto a otras localidades cercanas, como San Carlos de Bariloche y San Martín de los Andes conforman un corredor turístico de gran popularidad tanto en la época estival como en la invernal.
Al momento de la fundación de la localidad, se da el nombre de Nuevo pueblo y futura ciudad industrial Gral. Agustín P. Justo, sin embargo el General Justo declina el ofrecimiento, por lo que se opta por el de Villa La Angostura, que hace referencia al pequeño istmo que comunica la costa con la península de Quetrihué (en mapudungun: donde hay arrayán o lugar de patos), ubicada en la costa norte del lago Nahuel Huapi.
En este video veremos lo mas cercano a esta hermosa ciudad a la que visitamos seguido en nuestros fines de semana.

Hacienda Esperanza is a cabin-style Airbnb located in the town of Lares, Puerto Rico.
The place is charmingly peaceful and very romantic. You will feel fully attuned to nature since you will be in the midst of different crops and surrounded by trees and many species of birds.
From the balcony you will be able to appreciate a beautiful pond where you will enjoy seeing how the birds interact with it. The night provides a fascinating shared view between lights, the moon and the stars.
This delightful Airbnb in Puerto Rico has multiple trails which you can use to walk and enjoy the environment while a perfect climate surrounds you. Also outside are the bathroom, laundry, and kitchen (which has a two-burner cooktop, BBQ grill, sink, and fire pit). I would classify this place as a glamping.
The intimate interior of the cabin has two beds, AC, Wi-Fi, TV, mini fridge and a coffee maker.
This Airbnb is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy nature and a romantic stay.
The Hacienda Esperanza cabin is designed to house 2 guests. If you want to invite more people, you must do so with prior authorization. I understand that tent boxes are allowed, but they are an additional cost. Pets are also allowed, but you must notify the host.
From the José de Diego Highway (Express 22) in the town of Arecibo, you will reach the cabin heading south in approximately 30 minutes.

2022 El Calafate (Argentina) - Puerto Natales (Chile)
Este video es de algunas imágenes de la ruta de 350 kms entre El Calafate (Argentina) y Puerto Natales (Chile). Salimos a las 7 am de El Calafate y llegamos a Puerto Natales a las 3 pm. Nos tardamos 8 horas debido a las continuas paradas para tomar fotos y el tiempo necesario para cruzar los puestos fronterizos de Argentina y Chile.
Saliendo de El Calafate la carretera sube hasta 900m metros sobre el nivel del mar, hasta el mirador Julio Heredia. Desde aqui se tienen unas vistas magníficas de la pampa. A la distancia se vé el lago Argentino, el río Santa Cruz, y algunas montañas hacia el Chaltén.
Desde el mirador la carretera baja y se mantiene después por la pampa a solo 300 msnm. Todo sigue igual hasta llegar a la frontera.
Casi toda la ruta es a través de la pampa Argentina, despoblada casi en su totalidad. No hay arboles, ni casas, excepto algunas estancias a lo lejos. Sí se ven de vez en cuando ovejas, guanacos y ñandúes (avestruz sudamericana).
También los nevados del parque nacional Torres del Paine se los puede ver desde muchos kilómetros de distancia al ir acercándose a Chile.
El único pueblo a medio camino es Esperanza, a 160 kms de El Calafate. Pareciera estar oculto pues no se lo vé fácilmente cuando uno va hacia el sur. Al regreso paramos aquí para descansar y disfrutar de unas empanadas.
Por esto a la ida paramos solo en una estación solitaria de gasolina, a 250 kms de El Calafate. Tomamos café y sandwiches. Aquí nos recomendaron no llevar frutas pues en la frontera con Chileno lo permiten. Dejamos allí las pocas frutas que llevábamos. El dueño de este lugar debe tener un continuo abastecimiento de las frutas de los visitantes.
La distancia es igual si se cruza la frontera por el Paso Rio Don Guillermo o por el Paso Dorotea (más al sur).
El Paso Rio Don Guillermo requiere recorrer unos 10 kms por carretera de ripio. Por Paso Dorotea todo el trayecto está asfaltado.
Felizmente los papeles que había preparado la agencia de alquiler de carros, Dubrovnik, funcionaron muy bien. No tuvimos ningún problema para pasar. Recomiendo mucho esta agencia de alquiler.
Si se cruza por el Paso Don Guillermo se llega inmediatamente al pueblo desierto de Cerro Castillo. De aquí es una hora, 50 kms, a Puerto Natales.
Si en cambio se continúa mas al sur, y se cruza por Paso Dorotea, el camino a Puerto Natales es de 25 minutos.
A pesar de lo solitario de esta carretera, uno se distrae con los animales que se pueden ver en el camino, y los paisajes.
Al final se llega a Puerto Natales con su ambiente de mar, sus barcos, y sus cisnes blancos de cuello negro.

RECOLETA BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA [GRAND TOUR OF SOUTH AMERICA] 4K
In this video as part of our Grand Tour of South America. We stay in Buenos Aires and visit the Recoleta cemetery, MALBA modern art museum and the beautiful Puerto Madero.
Recoleta cemetary is located within the Recoleta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires in Argentina. It contains many graves of notable people including Eva Peron, past presidents of the country, nobel prize winners, and a grandaughter of Napoloean
Set in 14 acres, the site contains 4691 vaults of which 94 have been declared as National Historic Monuments by the Argentine government and are today protected by the state.
The cemetery contains many elaborate marble mausoleums, decorated with statues in a wide variety of styles including art deco, art nouveau, baroque and neo gothic. The majority of materials used were imported from Paris and Milan.
The final resting place of Irish born William Brown, he was the founder of the Argentine Navy. Today he is still regarded as one of Argentinas national heroes with over 1,200 streets named after him.
The main reason many thousands of travellers visit this cemetery is to see the last resting place of a not only national, but international icon of the 20th century. Maria Eva Duarte de Peron was born on 7th may 1919 and was the wife of the Argentine president Juan Peron, also first lady of Argentina from 1946 until her death in 1952.
She said her only ambition was that in the large chapter of history to be written about her husband, the footnotes would mention a woman who brought the ...hopes and dreams of the people to the president, a woman who eventually turned those hopes and dreams into glorious reality.
We continued our travels around this amazing city next a journey down the Avenida Figueroa Alcorta which is a major thoroughfare in Buenos Aires, and home to many great sights, including a most impressive building, part of the university in the city, the school of law
Time to sit and check our map, we found ourselves at Floralis Genérica a sculpture made of steel and aluminum located in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas, it was given as a gift to the city by the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano. Catalano once said that the flower is a synthesis of all the flowers and, at the same time, a hope reborn every day at opening. It was created in 2002. The sculpture was designed to move, closing its petals in the evening and opening them in the morning.
MALBA a modern art museum was next. Created by Argentine businessman Eduardo Costantini, it was inaugurated on September 21, 2001. The institution was organised around the Costantini Collection, and has continued to expand its selection of works from modern artists across Latin America. It also maintains a cultural center, which stages art and film exhibitions and develops cultural activities. The museum receives over a million visitors annually.
The Retiro Mitre, is a large railways station located just opposite Plaza San Martín, The Edwardian-style station building was designed by British architects. Building began in June 1909 and the station was opened on 1 August 1915. The steel structure for the building was made in Liverpool, England, and re-assembled in Argentina. For many years it was considered to be the most important example of structural engineering in South America and architecturally one of the finest buildings in the world.
Torre de los Ingleses (Tower of the English) is a clock tower It was a gift from the local British community to the city in commemoration of the centennial of the May Revolution of 1810.
The holiday period saw many events around the city including a parade of classic and modern vehicles, our next stop was the stunning Puerto Madero.
Puerto Madero has been redeveloped with international flair, drawing interest from renowned architects. Today one of the trendiest boroughs in Buenos Aires, it has become the preferred address for growing numbers of young professionals and retirees, alike.
