Taipei, Taiwan - Ximending Night Walk [4K Walking Video]
This 4K night walk takes place in the popular Ximending area in Taipei, Taiwan which is know for shopping, restaurants, night life and some night market style street food. This neighbourhood seems to be extremely popular with locals and tourists. I start off just in front of Ximen subway station's exit 3, and cross the street where I walk through a number of bars located in Red Square (which is a popular LGBT spot), then I head up to Chengdue Road and over into the main area of Ximen where I wander around a bit trying not to get lost. Eventually I make my way over to the hotel I was staying at near Taipei Main Station. I recorded this on Saturday, November 30th starting around 8:30 pm.

A long overdue holiday with the family and like a typical Hong Konger, we decided to take a trip to Taipei, Taiwan.
In this video, we visit one of our favorite places in the Wanhua District of Taipei - XIMENDING - its very well known as a shopper's district and the go-to place for young taiwanese. In Ximending, there is a never-ending source of local food where some have even been made in the Michelin Bib Gourmand at shockingly low prices. Must try.
I tour around all the main streets across hours on end and selected the key sights and sounds for you.

Walking Around Taipei - Taiwan's Capital City [4K60]
This 4K walk takes us around Taipei which is the capital city of Taiwan. I start off in front of my hotel in the Zhongzheng district. I walk down to Peace Park, past the East Gate and into Liberty Square. From there I head over to the President Hall and up past the Ximen area to the North Gate and loop back to my hotel. I only got to spend a few days in Taipei but it's a fantastic city and it was great to be back as the last time I was here was over 10 years ago. I do have a few more videos from Taipei which I'll upload later on as well as some from Khaoshiung which is the second largest city in Taiwan located in the south end of the country. In case you were wondering the hotel I stayed at is the Relax 5 and as long as you don't mind the smallish rooms it represents excellent value in an ideal location.

今天西門町滿滿的人潮，帥哥正妹美女都跑來逛街，老天祿依舊大排長龍，唐吉軻德也是人擠人，徒步區的街頭美食也是生意興榮。
西門町早期以電影院為最主要商業活動，當時電影院大多環繞於峨嵋街、成都路與西寧南路上，也是西門町發展的中心；百貨業、娛樂場所、餐廳美食相繼出現，中華商場完工之後，西門町儼然已成全國最大的商業娛樂中心。
民國80年代，臺北的商業娛樂活動逐漸轉移東區，再加上中華商場的拆除與道路整頓，西門町著實沉寂了好一陣子；一直到捷運板南線完工，中華路在臺北市政府的規劃之下，搖身一變成為臺北的香榭大道，不僅如此，大小廣場與活動空間如雨後春筍般地成長，每到週末假日，人群聚集在此從事文藝或運動、音樂表演等的活動，再度把商機與人潮又拉回了西區(資料來源:交通部觀光局)。
