This passion project was an endeavour to introduce the world to a different side of #Afghanistan that is rarely depicted in mainstream media. Unseen Afghanistan Hindukush mountains, Salang Pass.
The Hindu Kush is an 800-kilometre-long mountain range that stretches through #Afghanistan, from its centre to northern #Pakistan and into #Tajikistan and #China.
The range has numerous high snow-capped peaks, with the highest point being Tirich Mir which rises near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border to 7,690 metres.

Unseen Afghanistan | Paryan District:
The beautiful ancient valley of Paryan the starting point of Aab-e Tal and the relevant route of the Paryan district which leads to the beautiful scenery of Panjshir valley to the summit of Khawak. It’s worth mentionable that the provinces of Nuristan, Badakhshan, Takhar, and Baghlan are closely bordered. There are various opinions about the name of Paryan and researchers believe that the area was originally called Paryan a place in that land where everyone who went there did not come back alive. People thought that fairies would take anyone with them and yet no one knows about such a place. It is often thought to be a mythical place in the same area called (Mehr Samar) which should be either due to its permeability or lack of sufficient oxygen or the release of deadly perishable gases in the area and the people of that time believed in the existence of jinn and fairy (Pari) that the fairies would go there and take the humans with themselves; that's why the valley is called Paryan (Fairies). Paryan or Pari literally means a good-looking and beautiful creature. However, the word fairy among the people of Ariana Kabir (The Great), and the land of ancient Khorasan has been used in tales and stories. But fairies have been imaginary creatures of the popular culture of the people of this land, Afghanistan. Paryan was one of the villages related to the first part (Chahar Qariya) of Panjshir until the first half of the seventies A.H.

دره زیبا وباستا نی پریان درست از دهن آب تل به مثابه اولین توابع وآغاز منا طق مربوطه ولسوالی پریان به استقامت علیای وادی پنجشیر تا گذرگاه انجمن وخاواک منتهی میشود .می توان نام برد که به ولایت های نورستان ،بدخشان ،تخاروبغلان هم سرحد میبا شد .
درمورد نام منطقه پریان نظریات متفاوت وجود دارد ، پژوهشگران را عقیده برآن است که این منطقه اصلاً (پری یان )یاد میشده دران دیارمحلی بوده که هرگا کسی درآنجا میرفت دوباره زنده برنمی گشت .مردم فکر میکردند که پری ها انرا باخود میبرند ، درصورت که درولسوالی پریان امروز کسی درمورد چنین جای معلومات ندارد. به گمان اغلب آن محل افسانه یی درست همان منطقه بنام (مهرسمر )باشد که این محل یا به نسبت سعب العبوربودن ویاهم به نسبت عدم موجودیت آکسیجن کافی ویا نشر گازهای کشنده پری یان یادگردید مردمان آن روزگاربا جن وپری عقیده داشتن فکرمیکردند انجا یعن زیستگاه پری ها میرود پری ان را با خود میبرد. به همین لحاظ این دره را پری یان گفتند.
پریان درلغت عبارت است از پری پیکر خوبروی وخوش صورت،پری چهره که چهر ه اش به زیبایی شبیه چهره پری باشد .
هر چند واژه پریان درمیان مردمان آریا نا کبیر وسرزمین خراسان کهن ، در اصطلاحات عامیانه بطور افسانه یی بکار رفته است. اما پری از موجودات خیالی وافسانه یی فرهنگ عامیانه مردم این سرزمین بوده.
پریان تا نیمه اول دهه هشتاد هجری خورشیدی جزی ازقریه های مربوط حصه اول(چهارقریه )پنجشیربوده که درسال 1383هجری خورشیدی زمانیکه پنجشیربه ولایت ارتقا کرد پریان هم یکی ازولسوالی های هفتگانه این ولایت شامل تشکیلات اداری گردید.

Afghanistan officially the Islamic Country located at the crossroads of Central Asia and South Asia. Referred to as the Heart of Asia,[24] it is bordered by Pakistan to the east and south,[e] Iran to the west, Turkmenistan to the northwest, Uzbekistan to the north, Tajikistan to the northeast, and China to the northeast and east. Occupying 652,864 square kilometers (252,072 sq mi) of land, the country is predominantly mountainous with plains in the north and the southwest, which are separated by the Hindu Kush mountain range. As of 2021, its population is 40.2 million,[7] composed mostly of ethnic Pashtuns, Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks. Kabul is the country's largest city and serves as its capital.
Human habitation in Afghanistan dates back to the Middle Paleolithic era, and the country's strategic location along the historic Silk Road has led it to being described, picturesquely, as the ‘roundabout of the ancient world’.[25] Popularly referred to as the graveyard of empires,[26] the land has historically been home to various peoples and has witnessed numerous military campaigns, including those by the Persians, Alexander the Great, the Maurya Empire, Arab Muslims, the Mongols, the British, the Soviet Union, and most recently by an American-led coalition. Afghanistan also served as the source from which the Greco-Bactrians and the Mughals, among others, rose to form major empires.[27] The various conquests and periods in both the Iranian and Indian cultural spheres[28][29] made the area a center for Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and later Islam throughout history
