For sure is the shortest takeoff I watched in Madeira Airport, but not sure if its the shortest ever, but was really nice to watch the small propeller plane taking off using no more than 60 meters of runway, of course with the help of 23knots headwind. After 1 minute in the air, the plane was still flying over the airport, then headed to the Canary Island.
The Aircraft is a Flight Design CTSW, registration EC-EU7

TUI Boeing 757 Comes into Land SIDEWAYS in 40 KNOT CROSSWIND at Bristol Airport During a STORM
Strong winds blowing directly across the runway at Bristol Airport on the 12th October 2018 due to Storm Callum caused this TUI Airways Boeing 757-200 aircraft to come in nearly sideways. Aircraft need to compensate for the crosswind otherwise they will be blown off course, they do this by pointing their nose into the direction the wind is coming from, demonstrated perfectly by this crew. It is always fascinating to watch planes landing in strong crosswinds; the power of mother nature vs the skill and professionalism of the brilliant airline pilots.

Taking off bound for Glasgow on a positioning flight after arriving from Alicante on a charter Flight earlyer in thje day. Due to such a short journey therefor there was not much fuel needed, also there was no passengers of baggage so that was why the really short takeoff was preformed.

Hi all. Thought that I'd post this video of a British Airways (BA Cityflyer) Embraer E190 jet performing a really short takeoff at London City Airport. LCY has a very short runway anyway, and this plane took up just a third of the runway! Must have been an empty plane. Despite the early rotation, the plane still seems to soar in to the sky like a bullet!
