A video tour of the Caribbean island of Montserrat, now in the recovery phase following a series of devastating eruptions by the island's Soufriere Hills volcano. In the period since the volcano 'woke up' in 1995, the capital Plymouth has been destroyed and most of the southern half of the 39.5 sq mile island has been rendered uninhabitable. From a population of approximately 10,000, roughly 50% have fled Montserrat. However, volcanic activity has subsided in the past few years and efforts are being made to restore normality.
