Captain Ben and I ventured out to Santa Rosa Island is search of lobster, scallops and fish. While we only came home with 8 lobster, we also put scallops and fish in the freezer and had a great time diving the Channel Islands. It is truly world class diving out there with much better visibility than on the Mendocino coast.

My Giant 12lbs Lobster
I caught a giant lobster while shore diving off the California Coast. 12lbs! Biggest I've ever grabbed. Can't tell you the spot cause then it wouldn't be a secret ;) But I normally dive anywhere from San Diego, Orange County, Palos Verdes, to Catalina Island.
