OUR Government Told Us NOT TO GO Here... (FIRST TIME IN CHINA!) ????????

Welcome to our first video in China! In this video, we are going to be taking you on our stressful arrival in China, a country that our government told us not to visit. It's a big day for us, it us Americans first time in China!

We start this vlog back in Manila, Philippines before heading to the airport to catch out Cebu Pacific flight to a mystery city in China. The stress of our first arrival in China came about through their new 144-hour visa program, which we decided to use. This visa had many weird rules and restrictions and with tons of research, we still weren't sure if our route applied. So we took our flight to find out. And to no ones surprise, there were issues. So join us on this late night (morning if you will) journey as we experience our first time in China, a country that the Americans government warns against travel.

How to get a mobile phone SIM card in China #simcard

When you arrive in China, one of your primary tasks is to purchase a SIM card.
China has three major mobile providers: China Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile. You can get a SIM card at the official representative offices of these companies.
Start by locating the nearest office and visiting it in person. The only document you need to provide is your passport.
There are diverse communication packages available, catering to different data consumption needs, ranging from a few GB to unlimited internet. Once you have selected the appropriate mobile tariff, you will need to make the payment, have your photo taken, and complete a form.
That's all! Just a few simple steps, and you will have your own Chinese phone number!

Buying Nihao mobile sim card in China

Hi travellers,
This video shows my Nihao mobile sim card arriving into hotel quarantine in China. I ordered the smallest package and paid with PayPal. It is all in English, including the help messaging.

I typed in Nihao mobile into the search function in WeChat and ordered it. 2 days later it arrived. This meant I could order packages to the hotel and helped with the health code upon leaving.

With my smaller package it was $33USD and that means I have credit for a couple of upcoming months as well. When I had trouble with getting the health code the help chat was very receptive and sorted out the issue.
