OUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF SAN SALVADOR IN 2023 ???????? (this is the future...)

In this video, we take y'all to San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador! We start our El Salvador tour in the Historic Center (Centro Historico) to show you what this area San Salvador has to offer. We started in Plaza Libertad and made our way through la Iglesia del Rosiario, Palacio Real, Catedral Metropolitana de San Salvador, and the lively downtown streets. There were so many people walking around and enjoying the historic center. To our surprise, there were even little bands playing throughout the main square with a number of locals joining in for dancing! Such a fun experience. A little bit later in the afternoon we tried one of the most important foods in El Salvador: THE PUPUSA. We went to an amazing family owned pupusería near our airbnb and it was absolutely fantastic. Every bite was delicious and they were such hospitable and lovely people :) Gracias a La Pupusería Purrushka ❤️ ????????????????

Our Surprising Trip To El Salvador (former most dangerous country)

In today's episode, we pay a visit to the world's former most dangerous country: El Salvador in the heart of Central America.

Up until very recently, the country saw one of the highest murder rates per capita and gang violence was common. But since earlier this year, the country has seen a huge transformation, quickly becoming one of the safest countries in the region. How did this dramatic shift come about?

We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university, and live life full-time. We're trying to see and learn as much about the world as possible while we're young. Right now, we are working to visit 100 countries before the end of 2022???? The Best Places to Visit in El Salvador According to Locals (English Version)

El Salvador is an incredible country to visit, and it doesn’t get nearly the recognition that it deserves in international tourism. In this video, I collab with three local YouTube channels to discuss the best places to visit in each of their departments, which are San Salvador, La Libertad, and San Miguel.

Is El Salvador Still Dangerous? I Went To Find Out (#143)

Get Surfshark VPN at - Enter promo code SABBATICAL for 83% off & 3 extra months for FREE!

El Salvador. Being from Long Island in New York, you couldn't go through your life without meeting at least a few Salvadorans. But sadly, I never used to hear anything good about the country. I heard about the gang wars, about MS-13, about Barrio 18, about huge waves of migrants fleeing the country. It had the highest murder rate in the world for many of the last 30 years. El Salvador didn't seem like the kinda place you'd wanna visit.

But then I heard that things had changed. There's a new president with some very...unique ideas on public safety. Was it true? Was El Salvador really a different place now?

I had to go there to find out. And I would soon discover that I was quite popular in El Salvador, but not quite with who I imagined.

El Salvadorian cuisine has become a popular food in many parts of the US in recent years for good reason. There are so many incredible dishes and flavors that come from El Salvador. The most popular is the pupusa which is two tortillas filled with various fillings that you eat with curtido and salsa. That is not all there is to enjoy, from the incredible seafood to the unlimited amount of beans, rice, and fruit you will have, you will not go hungry as a tourist on a vacation in El Salvador.
