The famous twin falls in Dominica, Eastern Caribbean, are always popular with visitors. I decided to revisit this beautiful spot to show progress of our nature and give you a few moments of pleasure.
Same as my previous Dominica Nature videos, this clip is created for all of us who are tired of uncertainties, stressed with the current virus situation, with restricted movements, and so on. It is illustrated only with music, since music knows no borders.
This virtual tour hopefully will take your mind off these difficult problems, creating a mini-holidays for your mind. About Marigot DM: Marigot is the largest settlement of Saint Andrew Parish in northeastern Dominica. The village has a population of 2,676 people, and is home to a Fisheries Complex as well as the islands main airport. It is the birthplace of Wills Stratmore Stevens a local Educationist and B.O Robinson a former education officer. Along with Doctor Watts and local politician Edison James, (former Prime Minister)and cricket umpire Billy Doctrove. Marigot served as the leading community in Dominica at one point, with its people serving in all aspects of Government and local community development. Former police Commissioner O N Philip and Customs Comptroller Victoria Watty are also from the village of Marigot. Marigot can boast of being the leader in job creation agriculture and entrepreneurship. Marigot is also the home of former Government Senator Allan Jerry E Samuel, the youngest member to serve in parliament in the entire Caribbean region. Dominica - the Nature Island - is among the most mountainous Caribbean islands. In its native tongue named Waitukubuli - Tall Is Her Body, it reaches impressive heights on a small footprint. Ridges, waterfalls, cliffs, canyons - covered with old tropical forest - create together an unforgettable landscape with highly dominant VERTICAL spaces, shapes and lines. This part of my video series is just about these - vertical elements of nature - waterfalls, huge old trees, cliffs - all in perfect natural harmony. Dominica's nature is breath-taking and I am in love with it.
By no means a complete set of the most beautiful spots, it is my humble attempt to bring Dominica closer to your heart. An perhaps - when hard times are over - you would decide to experience it the best way - by visiting and exploring this beautiful land.

It is also covered with a dense tropical forest. It results in magical nooks, picturesque rivers under the leaves, and a maze of beautiful hikes awaiting your discovery. Dominica's nature is breath-taking and I am in love with it.
This short movie shows my personal favourites filmed during my countless hikes. Dominica - one of islands in the Eastern Caribbean archipelago, itendured many disasters, latest one being the infamous Hurricane Maria in 2017. The whole island and its forests were shattered. And yet - nature bounces back quickly, and this is shown in this video. Nature's power to come back after each and every catastrophe should be also our source of hope that our most current global situation will get sorted out in a natural way too...
