Epcot Future World East - Pressed Pennies 2019
This week we will start our tour of Epcot. When I was young this was not my favorite park, and I always felt there was too much learning going on. But now it's really become one of my favorite parks. The attractions they have a pretty unique and the festivals are always fun to attend. In this video we head to Future World East to check out the new Guardians of the Galaxy coaster construction, Test Track and much more. 2019 WDW Dated Pressed Coins Set
Finally the time has come to check out all the new 2019 pressed penny and quarter designs released all over the Walt Disney World Property. We checked out all the parks, resorts and everywhere pressed penny machines were available and found all 16 (yes 16 this year) pressed coins. A bit a surprise this year was that some of the locations where these designs were found have moved. Be sure to pay close attention for all the correct locations, and as I say each year make sure to get your set before they are gone. Happy hunting!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Riverside Depot - NEW Pressed Penny Machine
It has been over a month (yikes!) since a new penny machine has been released on Walt Disney World property. I actually thought we may be done with new pressed pennies until the New Year when the 2019 dated set is released. But as an early Holiday surprise it was announced that a new machine was released at Disney's Animal Kingdom park in the Riverside Depot gift shop. This is the first 8-design machine located in the Animal Kingdom and help support the Conservation Fund which is a great cause. Here's a quick video of my trip into the park on a mission to find this machine. Have a great weekend!

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Pressed Pennies

With temperatures still soaring this week in Central Florida we decided to check out Disney's other Water Park Typhoon Lagoon. Among all the water slides, wave pool, and lazy river this was a great way to spend the day trying to cool off. I toured around the entire park and found the penny press machine with some unique designs for your collection.

Disney's Boardwalk Resort Pressed Pennies
For years I lived in New Jersey and it was a common weekend trip to visit the Jersey Shore which are famous for their Boardwalks. But now that we live in Florida we do miss those boardwalks from time to time. Feeling like I needed a bit of a Jersey fix I headed over to Disney's Boardwalk Resort to walk around and spend some time on the Boardwalk. This is a really nice resort with a lot of things to do both inside and outside.

Lilo & Stitch Pressed Penny Mini-Set | Walt Disney World
Stitch has quite the following of fans among Disney enthusiasts. This animated movie has a lot of fun and heart to it and my daughters absolutely love it. In this weeks video we are going on the hunt for the Lilo & Stitch numbered mini-set of pressed pennies. Unfortunately some of these designs are no longer available in the parks, but I'll be sure to notate those so you know. I'm sure you can find them online or from fellow collectors. Epcot Mexico and Norway - Pressed Pennies 2019
Now we enter into the World Showcase on the hunt for more pressed pennies. I was going to do the entire showcase in one or two videos but there is just so much to each in each pavilion that I had to break it or they would have each been 30-45 minutes long. In this first visit we check out the entrance to World Showcase, and head into Mexico and end by visiting with Anna and Elsa in Norway. There is lots to see and do as well as plenty of pressed penny machines. Let our international journey begin.

Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Grand Opening - No Pressed Pennies
Let's get this out of the way up front, there are Currently no pressed penny machines available in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I got up early on Thursday August 29th and joined the massive crowd to check out Galaxy's Edge. This land is really amazing with so many little details, the stores, droid factory and the ability to build your own lightsaber. Your favorite Star Wars characters are wondering around and the First Order is always keeping an eye on you as you explore this new outpost. I made sure to explore every store, restaurant, milk stand and dark corners looking for a penny press machine but there just wasn't any there. Hopefully sometime soon this will change, but at the end of our visit to Galaxy's Edge I did want to review where you can get some Star Wars themed pressed pennies in other areas of Walt Disney World property. Alice in Wonderland Pressed Penny Mini-Set WDW
I promise next week we will start touring a different WDW Park looking for pressed coins. But this week I thought we would try something a little different. In some of the penny machines the designs are numbered as part of a mini-set. Most of the time these sets were for one specific movie, or a similar theme (Mickey in Tuxedos for some reason). Unfortunately with the new touch screen machines that give you an entire set in one shot these older mini-sets are slowly being replaced. There are a few still available on property and I wanted to try and find all the pennies in these sets. First up is the Alice in Wonderland set. There are six pennies in total and you have to hunt all over property to find them.

It's the middle of July and the heat is on in Central Florida. I figured there was no better time to head over to a water park and try to cool off. Disney's Blizzard Beach was a very unique and fun place to try and relax a bit in the shade, but also float away in the lazy river and check out some water slides. Plus on the way out in their gift shop I found a pressed penny machine. It's almost as if I planned it that way.

Disney Springs Hotel Plaza Blvd Pressed Pennies - Part 2

A few weeks ago I had headed over to the Good Neighbor hotels near Disney Springs to find all the new penny press machines. However on that trip I noticed two of the hotels didn't have machines which seems a little strange. Well just a short while ago I heard a rumor that these two remaining hotels finally received their machines. As soon as I was done with work I took a drive over to check out the machines.

Disney Springs Marketplace Pressed Pennies - Part 2
Happy 4th of July!
Let's finish off our tour of the newly renovated Disney Springs. This is probably the area that received the least amount of changes during the refurbishment but there are still a lot of things to see and do here. There is one of my favorite new plans The Void which is a hyper-VR experience currently with a Star Wars or Wreck-It Ralph simulation. The Christmas store is always a place we stop in to keep our Christmas ornament collection going. The Art of Disney store has plenty of things out of my budget but doesn't stop me from visiting. Plus did I mention lots more pressed penny machines and many even a collectible medallion machine somewhere. Disney Springs really has become a great place to visit and I find myself there more and more often just to walk around and whenever possible try new restaurants. Be sure to check it out on your next visit!

Animal Kingdom Africa / Pandora - Pressed Pennies 2018
Here we are at the end of our Animal Kingdom tour. In this trip we pick up where we left off last time in Africa and then make our way over to Pandora The World of Avatar. Spoiler** No penny press machines in Pandora (yet?!?!), but there were still a few machines we hadn't found yet. I keep saying it about this park, but the details are really amazing. Taking the time to really explore the nooks and crannies of the park was really great.
