Colombia | 4K Cinematic travel film
This short film summarize 2 weeks accross the country of Colombia.
We had the chance to visit the huge city of Bogotá. Salento into the Cocora valley with its world's tallest palm trees and wide coffee culture.
Then, we hiked for 2 days through Tayrona national park and spent one night in Playa Brava alone, witnessed outstanding sunset ,beautiful beach, jungle lifes and ancient village.
Finally we rested in the farm house of our friend Ivan and discovered the beautiful frailejones in the Chingaza Natural National Park.
We have still so much to see in this amazing country. We'll be back.

Bogotá, oficialmente Bogotá Distrito Capital (antiguamente llamada Santafé de Bogotá), junto con los treinta y dos departamentos forman la República de Colombia. Es la capital de Colombia y del departamento de Cundinamarca. Está administrada como Distrito capital, y goza de autonomía para la gestión de sus intereses dentro de los límites de la Constitución y la ley. A diferencia de los demás distritos de Colombia, Bogotá es una entidad territorial de primer orden, con las atribuciones administrativas que la ley confiere a los departamentos. Está constituida por 20 localidades y es el epicentro político, económico, administrativo, industrial, artístico, cultural, deportivo y turístico del país.
Bogotá fue fundada como capital del Nuevo Reino de Granada el 6 de agosto de 1538 por el conquistador español Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada después de una dura expedición a los Andes.
Es la tercera capital más alta de Suramérica (después de Quito y La Paz), ya que se encuentra a un promedio de 2.625 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Está ubicada en el centro de Colombia, en la región natural conocida como la sabana de Bogotá, que forma parte del altiplano cundiboyacense, formación ubicada en la cordillera Oriental de los Andes.
Tiene una longitud de 33 km de sur a norte, y 16 km de oriente a occidente. Como capital, alberga los organismos de mayor jerarquía de la rama ejecutiva (Presidencia de la República), legislativa (Congreso de Colombia) y judicial (Corte Suprema de Justicia, Corte Constitucional, Consejo de Estado y el Consejo Superior de la Judicatura).
Según The Economist, en el plano económico, Bogotá se destaca por su fortaleza económica asociada al tamaño de su producción, las facilidades para crear empresas y hacer negocios, la madurez financiera, la atracción de empresas globales y la calidad de su capital humano. Es el principal mercado de Colombia y de la Región Andina, y el primer destino de la inversión extranjera directa que llega a Colombia (70 %). Tiene el mayor PIB nominal y per cápita del país, aportando la mayor parte al total nacional (24,5 %), y es la sexta ciudad por tamaño del PIB en Latinoamérica.
El aeropuerto de la ciudad, Aeropuerto Internacional El Dorado, llamado así por el mítico El Dorado, tiene el mayor volumen de carga transportada en América Latina, y es el segundo en cantidad de personas. Es la ciudad de Colombia con el mayor número de universidades (114) y centros de investigación. Cuenta con una amplia oferta cultural representada en una gran cantidad de museos, teatros y bibliotecas, que le ha otorgado el reconocimiento de la Atenas de Suramérica.

Medellín es capital del departamento de Antioquia. Es la ciudad más poblada del departamento y la segunda más poblada del país después de Bogotá. Se asienta en la parte más ancha de la región natural conocida como Valle de Aburrá, en la cordillera central de los Andes. Se extiende a ambas orillas del río Medellín, que la atraviesa de sur a norte, y es el núcleo principal del área metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá.
La ciudad tiene una población proyectada de 2 508 452 habitantes (2018), mientras que dicha cifra, incluyendo el área metropolitana, asciende a 3 821 797 personas (2016).
En 1826 fue designada capital de Antioquia, título que ostentaba Santa Fe de Antioquia desde la época colonial. Durante el siglo XIX, Medellín se desarrolló como un centro dinámico de comercio, primero exportando oro, y posteriormente mercancías provenientes de la industrialización de la ciudad.
Como capital departamental, Medellín alberga las sedes de la Gobernación de Antioquia, la Asamblea Departamental, el Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Medellín, el Área metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá y la Fiscalía General, así como diferentes empresas públicas, instituciones y organismos del estado colombiano; es sede de empresas nacionales e internacionales en sectores como: textil, confecciones, metalmecánico, energético, financiero, salud, telecomunicaciones, construcción, automotriz, y alimentos, entre otros.

Cali, oficialmente Distrito Especial, Deportivo, Cultural, Turístico, Empresarial y de Servicios de Santiago de Cali, es un distrito colombiano, capital del departamento de Valle del Cauca y la tercera ciudad más poblada de Colombia.
Está situada en la región Sur del Valle del Cauca, geográficamente la ciudad se ubica en el Valle del Río Cauca formado por la cordillera occidental y la cordillera central de la región andina, con una altura promedio de 1000 msnm.
Es la única gran ciudad de Colombia que posee un acceso rápido al Océano Pacífico, dista 114 km de Buenaventura, principal puerto del país. La ciudad forma parte del área metropolitana de Cali, junto con los municipios contiguos a esta. Fue fundada el 25 de julio de 1536 por Sebastián de Belalcázar, lo que la convierte en una de las ciudades más antiguas de América.
La ciudad es uno de los principales centros económicos e industriales de Colombia, además de ser el principal centro urbano, cultural, económico, industrial y agrario del suroccidente del país y el tercero a nivel nacional después de Bogotá y Medellín. Como capital departamental, alberga las sedes de la Gobernación del Valle del Cauca, la Asamblea Departamental, el Tribunal Departamental, la Fiscalía General, instituciones y organismos del estado, y también es la sede de empresas oficiales como la municipal EMCALI.
Es uno de los principales centros deportivos de Colombia, destacándose la organización de importantes eventos deportivos como los Juegos Panamericanos de 1971 y los Juegos Mundiales de 2013. Es a su vez conocida como «la capital mundial de la salsa» y «la sucursal del cielo».

Manizales es un municipio colombiano, capital del departamento de Caldas. Está ubicado en el centro occidente de Colombia, en la región paisa, sobre la Cordillera Central de los Andes, cerca del Nevado del Ruiz.
Tiene una población de 434,403 habitantes, de acuerdo al censo poblacional oficial para el año 2018. Hace parte del Área Metropolitana del Centrosur de Caldas y de la Asociación de Municipios de la Subregión Centro Sur, ambos conformados por Manizales, Neira, Chinchiná, Villamaría y Palestina con una población de 586,905 habitantes. Es además, la región más poblada y competitiva del departamento con un aporte del 68% de su PIB total.
Fundada en 1849 por colonos antioqueños, hoy es una ciudad con actividades económicas, industriales, culturales y turísticas. De su actividad cultural son de resaltar la Feria de Manizales, el Festival Internacional de Teatro de Manizales, siendo la ciudad teatral más importante en la historia de Colombia, y el Festival Manizales Grita Rock.
Como capital de departamento, Manizales alberga las sedes de la Gobernación de Caldas, la Asamblea Departamental, el Tribunal Administrativo de Caldas, la Fiscalía General de la Nación, así como diferentes empresas públicas e instituciones y organismos del estado.
Manizales es denominada la Ciudad de las Puertas Abiertas. También se le conoce como Manizales del Alma debido a un pasodoble taurino que lleva su nombre, igualmente como La Perla del Ruiz, La Capital del Afecto, La Capital Mundial del Café y como La Colina Iluminada.

Access roads to this Unesco world heritage site are in very poor condition and this has preserved this intriguing archaeological site and the beautiful untouched wilderness that surrounds the series of pre-Colombian burial tombs that make up Tierradentro.
