Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 (2023), Top Speed (GPS), Autobahn

Výška jezdce 184 cm, váha s helmou a motohadry kolem 105 kg.

Lithium RV Battery Power System Tour // 1200 Ah of LiFePo4 // 15840 WH // Q&A

✅ 1200 Ah is a lot of power to cram into a NuCamp Cirrus 920 Truck Camper. Take a look at our setup and let us know what you think in the comments! It's a work in progress, but it's been such a nice upgrade for us, especially with our constant power needs.

This video covers the battery install, the inverter setup, and our general usage. In the previous week's video, I asked for your questions and provide answers towards the end of the video in a little Question and Answer section.

I realized while making the video that there are too many individual specifications and topics to cover in a single video, so I'll be releasing some additional videos to cover some additional details. Make sure you're subscribed by clicking the Subscribe button up ⬆️ there.

Ask your questions in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks for watching!

DIY Shortwave Radio Antenna Made From Speaker Wire.

A short video demonstrating the usefulness of a home-made radio antenna for less than $20. Ideal for shortwave listeners and Dx’ers. Made from 18 gauge speaker wire. Two things I didn’t mention in the video is you can run a similar set up out of a window that way you’re not out in the elements like I am in this video. Also I have the antenna set up horizontally, you can do the same vertically by throwing it up in a tree or something similar.

All Ears on: Walter Werzowa | Vienna 2020. Capital of Music

Vienna and music – they belong together. The focus in 2020 is on those artists and institutions that make Vienna the world capital of music. It started long ago, for example with Ludwig van Beethoven, whose 250th birthday will be celebrated in 2020. He was a musical Viennese by choice – having chosen Vienna as the focal point of his life and creativity. Like him, world stars of the present have chosen Vienna as their special place of music. Billy Joel, Yuja Wang, Hans Zimmer, Joshua Bell, Julian Rachlin, Rebekka Bakken, Valentina Nafornita and Juan Diego Flórez are just some of today's Viennese by choice. Walter Werzowa gave us this exclusive interview on September 5, 2019 at Vienna Synchron Stage.

DIY Van Build Electrical - SOLAR, SHORE POWER, BATTERY ISOLATOR

Wow, this was intimidating to take on by myself. I ended up having to trick myself into actually starting the assembly process. After months of research and planning, I had all the parts in front of me and just started crimping and connecting!

Take everything here as simply the sharing of a novice that's surprised he hasn't started an electrical fire (yet) to anyone who's trying to piece together their own system. Emphasis on novice.

Read the exhaustive walkthru here:

Here are my top sources for information I used over and over to understand what to do with my own system: Will Prowse is a legend in this community.

Video one:

Video two:

Tools I used:

Electrical tape:

Hammer crimper for larger gauge wires:

Cable stripper for larger wires:

Hand crimper and stripper for smaller wires:

Cable clamps:

Washers (for increasing surface area of certain connections):

A pair of scissors for cutting wires (seriously)

A hammer for the hammer crimper

Wire connectors:

Terminal connectors:

Copper terminal connectors (I needed a few more 4AWG connectors so bought two sets of these):

Cordless drill with bits

Wood screws for mounting everything:

Electrical system pieces:

Let's start with the 100 amp-hour Battle Born Lithium Batteries (x2):

Then 1ft of 2AWG (gauge) (depends on how far apart you sit your batteries from each other) red and black for connecting those batteries in parallel (cumulative amp-hour capacity):

Then 2ft of 1/0 (1 aught) between the batteries and the main system:

Between the battery positive cable and the bus bar designated for positive connections, a 200a breaker:

Between that breaker and the next few pieces, 4AWG wire (I used 4AWG positive and negative wire between all the main connections - charge controller, inverter, fuse block):

Between the positive battery cable, its breaker, and the bus bar, a master on/off switch:

Then the bus bar! (x2 - one for positive wires and one for negative wires):

The battery monitor system shunt goes in-line with the negative cable from the battery. The positive wire from the battery monitor attaches directly to the positive terminal of your battery:

A 150a breaker between the positive bus bar and the inverter and fuse block:

A 40a breaker between positive of the charge controller and positive bus bar:

A 2200 Pure Sine Wave inverter:

My fuse block (where all my DC loads are connected):

The ATO fuses to go into that fuse block (they don't come with the fuse block):

Now let's talk solar:

200watt Newpowa panel (x2):

MC4 connectors for wiring panels in parallel (cumulative amp-hour capacity):

20ft of solar extension cables from MC4's through the roof (watch that video here: and to the charge controller:

35a Solar Charge Controller sized for 400 watts of solar:

Now let's talk shore power:

The 15a regular household plug port on the outside of the van:

The 15a to 30a adapter in case I need to attach to a 30a post (most common in campsites):

The 30a battery to battery charger that takes power from plugged-in source and gives it to my battery system (since I have 200ah of battery bank capacity, I could go up to. 100a of solar charge setup but I don't need a system that charges that fast so I went with 30a):

8AWG red and black wire:

40a breaker between the battery to battery charger and the positive bus bar:

Now let's talk battery isolator (car battery charging my system):

4AWG positive cable from the car positive terminal (under the driver seat in a Ford Transit) to a breaker:

A 150a breaker between that red wire and the battery isolator:

Then the 140a battery isolator:

NAVITIMER COSMONAUTE

please visit:

BREITLING CELEBRATES THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST
SPACEGOING WRIST CHRONOGRAPH.

On May 24th 1962, a Breitling Navitimer chronograph became the first wrist instrument to share in the conquest of space by accompanying the Aurora 7 flight. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historical feat, the brand is launching into orbit a new Navitimer Cosmonaute equipped with a highperformance Manufacture Breitling movement, entirely developed and produced in the company workshops. This 1,962-piece limited edition is distinguished by its 24-hour display, its manualwinding mode -- two nods to the original 1962 chronograph -- as well as the Aurora 7 mission insignia engraved on the caseback. Navitimer Cosmonaute. The legend continues.

MAIDEN SPACE FLIGHT.

The early 1960s were all about the space race. The Americans launched the Mercury program intended to develop manned flights. They were looking for a high-performance, accurate and reliable chronograph capable of withstanding exceptional conditions. With this in mind, they naturally turned to Breitling, the official supplier to world aviation and a privileged partner of the finest hours in aeronautical history. The Navitimer, the cult pilot's watch created in 1952, with its famous circular slide rule serving to perform all operations relating to airborne navigation, naturally asserted itself as the ideal instrument in taking up this challenge. It successfully passed all the required tests, and on May 24th 1962, Lt Commander Scott Carpenter orbited the Earth three times aboard the Aurora 7 capsule. On his wrist was a Navitimer equipped with a 24-hour graduated scale serving to distinguish day from night -- an absolute necessity in space. Mission accomplished. This was a major new token of recognition for Breitling, and this space conquest pioneer soon entered the brand's collections under the name of Cosmonaute.

THE ENGINE DRIVING THE ACCOMPLISHMENT.

The new Manufacture Breitling Caliber 02 powering the Navitimer Cosmonaute stands out by its 24-hour display and its manual-winding system -- two distinctive features echoing the model that accompanied Scott Carpenter in orbiting the Earth. It was developed by the Breitling engineers and watchmakers based on Caliber 01, the world's best chronograph movement, and is endowed with all the assets of this exceptional engine -- including an original column-wheel structure, maximum reliability, security and functionality, unfaltering sturdiness and exceptional precision confirmed by a chronometer certificate granted by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute). Issued in a 1,962-piece limited edition, the 50th anniversary Navitimer Cosmonaute features a black dial with silver counters. The dial motif is created using the refined par épargne process on a sterling silver base, thereby guaranteeing the peerless radiance and readability of the indications. In addition to the Aurora 7 mission insignia, the engraved caseback also carries a Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion scale -- another detail faithful to the design of the vintage Navitimer models.

A Renaissance recipe a Florentine-style Crepes, the Family Medici Grandma's Handkerchiefs.

#VillaLeTorri #MerryChristmas2021 #Videorecipe #TuscanTradiction #Florentine-styleCrepepes
#Grandna'sHandkerchiefs

Crepes Florentine style is the Renaissance dish for special occasions and is part of the ancient Florentine gastronomic tradition. Legend has it that it was Catherine de Medici who exported them to Paris by marrying Henry II, King of France.
Caterina de Medici exported these recipes to French land, and there they were renamed and made their own. So our great-grandparents called them pezzole (handkerchiefs) in glue sauce (béchamel), today crepes.

Pezzuole della Nonna ( Crespelle)

Ingredients for 6 people:
500 ml of milk
250 g of flour 0
3 eggs
250 g of sheep ricotta
250 g of field herbs
130 g of Tuscan pecorino
40 g of butter
q.b. salt and pepper to taste
nutmeg to taste
1/2 liter of bechamel

Preparation
In a bowl, mix flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, nutmeg and a pinch of salt to form a fluid batter, cover with a plate and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Let's move on to the filling, add the wild herbs to the ricotta (previously sautéed in a pan with a clove of garlic, a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and salt to taste). Add the grated cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Heat a lightly buttered 20-gauge non-stick pan, pour a ladle of batter to cover the bottom, make a perfectly cooked pezzola (crèpes) on both sides; continue until the mixture is used up.

Prepare a liter of béchamel as you usually do. Click below if you want to do mine.

Stuff the pezzole with the ricotta and vegetable filling, fold it in half, and then in half again to give it a fan shape. Veil the bottom of a pan with the béchamel, place the pezzole slightly overlapping, cover with more béchamel, a sprinkle of grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 170 ° for 15 minutes.

2018 Eureka Truck Camper - Less than $10K Invested

Click on SHOW MORE to see all the relevant information.

As you may have seen in our previous video, Yoly and I took delivery of a 48 inch cab-over Eureka truck camper last month that had been somewhat custom made to accomodate the personalized interior that we had envisioned. It is now complete and ready to hit the road. The Eureka is an inexpensive alternative to the commonplace behemoths that cost more than 3 to 8 times as much and offers a simpler way of life. We wanted to outfit ours based on our experiences traveling close to 100,000 miles in the last 12 years in 7 previous campers. We also had a maximum $10K budget and we managed to come in well below that. This truck camper is comfortable, functional and works well in both shore power and boondocking situations with a little planning. Currently, there is no propane system so our Honda EU2000 is necessary for running a space heater if required. We are not full timers by any stretch of the imagination and can plan our excursions when conditions are favorable. Below is a list of the more predominant pieces of equipment sourced by us ....

A Brief history of the Knutsford Highwayman (it happened today in history)

Today in history 7th November 1767 Higgins was sent to the gallows.
Edward Higgins aka the Knutsford Highwayman was a low life criminal in the 18th century. He somehow managed to insert himself into the High Society of Cheshire. Rubbing elbows with the likes of Samuel Egerton of Tatton. His story is worthy of a Hollywood script. He pulled off a deception equal to the character played by Leonardo di Caprio in Catch Me If You Can. A brief history of his life and death by the hangman.
