산악지형이 전 국토의 70%인 온두라스의 풍경을 4K 드론 영상으로 담아 봤습니다.
수도 테구시갈파에서 3시간 가량 동북쪽에 위치한 '라 파즈' 주(州)의 'Mercedes De Oriente' 라는 곳인데, 일반 차량으로는 주행이 불가능 할 정도로 도로 사정이 좋지 않은 곳입니다.
때문에 4륜 SUV로 이동하거나, 현지에서는 말을 이용하여 이동하기도 합니다.
하지만 사람의 발길이 쉽게 닿지 않는 곳이라 주변 풍경과 자연환경은 너무나 아름다운 곳 이랍니다

Christopher Columbus landed at Trujillo in 1502; he baptized this area Honduras – literally depths in spanish – because of the depth of the waters of this coast.
Banana production in Honduras plays an important role in the Honduran economy. In 1992, revenue generated from banana sales was US$287 million and, together with the coffee industry, accounted for about 50% of exports.
Honduras produced 861,000 tons of bananas in 1999.
Roatán is an island in the Caribbean, about 65 kilometres (40 mi) off the northern coast of Honduras. It is located between the islands of Útila and Guanaja, and is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras.
The island was formerly known in English as Ruatan and Rattan.

Roatan Honduras - Infinity Bay Resort - West Bay & West End
A recent visit to Roatan Honduras, staying at Infinity Bay Resort in West Bay. Took a day trip by water taxi to West End to view the quaint little town with numerous shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the beautiful fine sandy beaches and the warm tropical waters. Swim, snorkel, and just relax. A wonderful getaway.

Copán es un sitio arqueológico de la antigua civilización maya ubicado en el departamento de Copán al occidente de Honduras, a poca distancia de la frontera con Guatemala. Del siglo V al siglo IX fue la capital de un importante reino del periodo Clásico. La ciudad estaba situada en el extremo sureste de la región cultural Mesoaméricana, en la frontera con la región cultural istmo-colombiana, en una zona habitada por pueblos que no pertenecían a la etnia maya.1 En la actualidad este valle fértil contiene un centro urbano de alrededor de 3000 habitantes, un pequeño aeropuerto y una carretera sinuosa.2
La ocupación humana del sitio se extiende por más de dos milenios, desde el Preclásico Temprano hasta el Posclásico. La ciudad desarrolló un estilo escultórico distintivo dentro de la tradición de los mayas de las tierras bajas, tal vez para destacar el origen maya de los gobernantes de la ciudad.1
La ciudad cuenta con un registro histórico que cubre la mayor parte del período clásico y que ha sido reconstruido en detalle por arqueólogos y epigrafistas.1 Copán, originalmente probablemente llamado Oxwitik por los mayas,3 era una poderosa ciudad-estado, gobernando un vasto reino en el sur de la región maya.4 La ciudad sufrió un desastre político importante en el año 738 d. C., cuando Uaxaclajuun Ub'aah K'awiil, uno de los más grandes reyes en la historia de la dinastía de Copán, fue capturado y ejecutado por su antiguo vasallo, el rey de Quiriguá.567 Esta inesperada derrota dio lugar a un receso de 17 años durante el cual Copán puede haber estado bajo el dominio de Quiriguá.8
Una parte significativa del lado oriental de la acrópolis fue afectada por la erosión causada por el río Copán, aunque el río ha sido desviado en los años 1930 con el fin de proteger el sitio contra daños mayores.1 En 1980 Copán fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por UNESCO.

Fantásticas Vistas Aéreas de Tegucigalpa, Cristo del Picacho HONDURAS - Vistas en 4K / Drone
En el año 1997, durante los preparativos de la celebración del Jubileo del año 2000, Monseñor Oscar Andrés Rodríguez dedicó la conmemoración al Señor Jesucristo, es en ese momento, en el que planteó su deseo de construir un monumento de manera solemne. Para lograr su objetivo se organiza una comisión dirigida por la Licenciada Armida de López Contreras y complementada por integrantes claves de la sociedad hondureña, quienes después de largas deliberaciones y consultas y con la venia del Monseñor Rodríguez, acuerdan la construcción de una imagen de Cristo en gran dimensión.
El Cristo es una escultura de 2,500 toneladas y de 30 metros de altura total (una imagen de 20 metros de altura sobre un pedestal de 10 metros). Su inauguración fue el 16 de enero de 1998. El imponente Cristo se levanta en el lado oeste de cerro Picacho, y puede ser visto de lejos por lo menos por el sesenta por ciento de la población del Distrito Central, especialmente por la noche. La figura religiosa de concreto armado fue diseñada artísticamente por el prestigiado escultor hondureño Mario Zamora Alcántara que reside en México desde hace varios años. El Diseño y Construcción de la Obra en su parte de Ingeniería Estructural se llevó a cabo por la Compañía Constructora CONSULCRETO, liderada por el ingeniero José Francisco Paredes, y el diseño arquitectónico del parque fue diseñado por el arquitecto Luciano Durón. El artista preparó un gigantesco molde de fibra de vidrio en la capital mexicana, que luego se fundió en El Picacho sobre una base también de hormigón de diez metros de alto. La construcción mantuvo ocupado durante siete meses a un equipo de 40 personas.
