Bad weather makes me solo sailing back to Shelter Bay - EP 114 Sailing Seatramp
I am still alone on Chichime, San Blas Islands. In the last days the weather is getting worse, one rain shower after another.
After a 17 hour thunderstorm I am fed up and start my first sailing trip alone to bring trampi and me back to the safe Shelter Bay Marina. About 90 miles ahead of me, but I have the fun of my life.
Thanks to SY Sea You who sailed part of the way with me and took some great shots. And of course thanks to @Sailingwiththomas for helping me so wonderfully with the mooring!

Back after being boarded and robbed in Panama - Sailing Seatramp
You missed us?
Two months ago we got boarded and robbed on anchor on our beautiful SY Seatramp in Panama.
It took some time to get all things organisated again, but finally we are back and willing to continue our sailing adventure.
We would like to give you a little insight into what happened and thank all of you who supported us so actively and helped us to get back on our feet! Sail on Seatramp!

Preparing the Panama Canal Crossing - EP 117 Sailing Seatramp
Finally there is a decision! Panama Canal we are coming! We're going to the Pacific!
After I'm still alone in the Shelter Bay Marina, Mario gives me the go to organize the channel crossing. For a long time it was questionable for us in which direction we should continue after the robbery- via USA back to the safe Mediterranean Sea or hold on to our dream and sail into the Pacific.
Without an agent I organizze everyhting and continue to spend time with my friends Holly and Thomas.

How do the Kunas life? Behind the scene San Blas - EP 106 Sailing Seatramp
After we spent a couple of weeks now around Chichime, we start our way to Cayo Holandes to disover more islands of the San Blas archipelago.
We get the chance to speak with one of the locals and learn a little bit more about their lives.
Beach BBQ Las Perlas Style - EP 121 Sailing Seatramp
TIme to spent some time on the Pearl Islands. We meet with our friends from Sailing YUM YUM and make a nice BBQ on the beach. The boys caught fresh fish for us - after that we find out that you should not eat Parrotfish - lesson learned.
Later in the night we start to make stupid games, which end with a bloody lip for me and a lost bet, Mario has to make breakfast for all of us on the next morning. But it's a sad morning, as we have to bring our friend Jenna to shore. After more than 3 weeks she is leaving us again to go windsurfing for another week before she has to work again back in Canada.

Pacific Crossing during COVID-19 closed borders around us #1 - EP 127 Sailing Seatramp
We were more or less ready with everything to prepare for the Pacific crossing when Covid-19 hits the world. We had to make a decision, staying in Panama or leaving to French Polynesia.
A day before Panama makes the Lockdown, we decide to leave. We are not 100% ready with everything, got the new bimini just in time ready and lift the anchor to an unknown future.
Nobody knows at that point if we will be allowed to make landfall in French Polynesia when we arrive there, so we start this crossing already with mixed feelings.

Luckyfish Live Launch???? - Ep 102 Sailing Luckyfish
At last we are back in the water and ready to start new adventures. Here is the replay of the whole launching event.
The video quality is only 720p and the audio is at times terrible but up to 120 folks stuck it out and saw the splash at RAM Marina, a very tight exit, a motor under the famous bridge, as Zaya found Leo a safe place to sit and watch (in one of the cockpit lockers!) and our Russian friend Alex (Rasputin) handled the camera, a pass-by the Spanish fort Castilla de Phillipe and then a return along the other shore to see some of the beautiful riverside properties, back under the bridge where we ran into difficulty finding a berth, only to tie up alongside the bar at MAR Marina. A fitting end to a wonderful day.

I arrived last time from my solo sail in Shelter Bay Marina after 3 weeks alone in the San Blas Islands. So it's time for me to socalize a little bit again.
Thomas from @SailingwithThomas who helped me docking Seatramp invites me for a waffle afternoon.
Shelter Bay Marina offers a lot activites for sailors, every sunday is a BBQ. Let's join it and meet Holly from @WindHippieSailing there. We three start to hang around a lot and become good friends.

Let's cross the Panama Canal Part 1 - EP 118 Sailing Seatramp
Finally it's time to cross the Panama Canal for Seatramp!
Mario just came back and we directly get ready to cross to the Pacific side of Panama.
We are lucky to have our friend Jenna back on board for a while and she will help us thru the Canal together with Mirko and Juanjo from Shelter Bay Marina.
In the first part we are going up the first 3 locks into the Gatun Lake. I did it already 2 times on another boat, Mario joined a Catamaran before, so we should know how it works, but of course it feels totally different to do it with the own boat.

After 3 wonderful weeks in Europa, great for my soul and my heart, it’s time to fly back home. Enjoy my little journey back to Seatramp, flying from Madrid, Spain over Colombia to Panama.

Early in the morning we start our way thru the reef of Linton Bay and head back to San Blas Islands, where we meet Carla and Simon from OceanFox.
We spent some time with them and have a great dinner together.
This trip feels a little bit strange as Mario is leaving Seatramp soon for a while.
