Breakfast 1 (青島豆漿店): - We’re starting with the classic Taiwanese breakfast of soy milk and baked pasties, both savory and sweet.

Danzai Noodles (羅家擔仔麵): - Danzai noodles have a unique story, and it’s a fantastic noodle dish to try.

Dadaocheng Cisheng Temple: - This is a Taiwanese food hidden gem in Taipei, within the temple courtyard and a fantastic place to eat and remember the traditional way of live in Taipei.

#10: Best Wok Mi Goreng Original - Indonesia
A very well rounded mi goreng with an excellent balance of sweet and spicy flavors - noodle gauge is gret and doesn't come off dry but just the right oiliness
#9: Prima Taste Singapore Curry Wholegrain La Mian – Singapore
A long time favorite, on this list for years. A subtle yet robust curry flavor is paired with a rustic noodle which isn't gritty and just works so well here.
#8: Indomie Mi Keriting Rasa Ayam Panggang – Indonesia
After years, a favorite of years back returns to my table. The noodle has a nice curly gauge and savory chicken nature. The vegetables are just perfect for here - in little bits. The sipping soup on the side is just perfect. A favorite from years back I hope to see eventually available again in the USA
#7: Red Chef Spicy Sakura Prawn Soup Rice Vermicelli & Noodles – Malaysia
First, rice vermicelli and a non-fried wheat noodle are paired. These are bathed in a broth of sweet and very strong prawn broth which is thick and as savory as can be. A light spiciness brings it all together, augmented by crisp, fried onions.
#6: A-Sha LaoTao Beef and Tendon Noodles – Taiwan
A thin and flat noodle is joined by a very tasty beef broth which has a depth of flavor unparalleled in my years of reviewing. The beef and tendon is succulent, melt in your mouth stuff. Truly amazing and worth a trip to Taiwan to try.
#5: MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodle – Malaysia
A favorite for years - we start with a plump and lightly chewy noodle. Next a broth with such a strong curry flavor - creamy and giving. It's really something unique I think everyone should try - a true testament to Malaysian flavor.
#4: Red Chef Hae Bee Hiam – Singapore
A non-fried noodle is [aired with hae bee hiam. Hae bee hiam is a prawn crisp - this one has pieces of chewy shrimp in the mix - chunky and savory, spicy, oily, and sweet. The balance just works so well.
#3: Mom's Dry Noodle Scallop & Hua Diao Wine Chicken Noodle Soup - Taiwan
A non fried Taiwanese dry noodle is where we start. Paired with a rich broth which imparts the flavor of slow cooking, and contains whole pieces of chicken - just all around a truly wonderful chicken noodle soup - the best after 20 years of reviewing.
#2: Ippudo Karaka Spicy Ramen – Japan
A very recent find - this has a shelf stable fresh ramen which cooks up in mere seconds. The broth is amazing; milky, rich, and a little bit spicy - all in the best amounts. The included glob of pure umami laden wonder just finishes this and is the best home prepared ramen I've had to date - rocketing to second place, this variety from Japan is a truly wonderful thing to behold and a must try.
#1: Prima Taste Singapore Wholegrain Laksa La Mian — Singapore
For the 8th year in a row, this juggernaut seems to be a tough one to dethrone. The chewy noodle has a thick and round gauge. Paired with a laksa broth which has a beautiful flavor, thickness, and color, it's really quite amazing stuff. If on a deserted island, this would be my pick.

Hans Lienesch ( releases his annual Top Ten favorite Taiwan made noodles. Lienesch has reviewed over 2,900 varieties and out of 2,943 - these are the best Taiwanese varieties he's tried so far.

#10: Three Meters Noodles Spicy Taste
The noodles gauge and chew are really great – very impressed. The flavor is different than many Sichuan spicy varieties – it has a balance which I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
#9: Wu-Mu Ma Jiou Mian Xian : Hua-Tiau Chiew Chicken Flavor
The noodles are very good – like premium instants,. Liked the texture and chew on them very much. The broth had a very tasty and complex taste – I really liked the chicken taste augmented with the wolfberry and wine – it worked together in perfect harmony.
#8: Kiki Noodles Scallion Oil & Soy Sauce Flavor Noodle
The noodles are thin and have a very agreeable mouthfeel. The flavor is a sweet kind of onion hit which is quite tasty.
#7: A-Sha Dan Zai Noodle
The noodles have a flat and broad gauge and an excellent chewiness I’ve come to expect from the A-Sha line of products. The flavor is very good – a kind of spicy, salty, slightly sweet and then this savoriness to it – lots of spices that I can really only describe as tasking like Taiwan.
#6: Three Meters Noodles Shallot Taste
Nice gauge and light chew. The flavor was just mind-blowingly good and I am thoroughly excited about this one. The shallot flavor is just right – not too salty, not too pushy – just exactly perfect.
#5: Tseng Noodle Scallion With Sichuan Pepper Flavor
A wide noodle with scalloped edges. These have the bonus of a thin edge and thicker center, giving a delicate as well as hearty aspect. The flavor is very good – a soy bump, some onion hit, then the Sichuan pepper oil. It all works together magnificently.
#4: Little Cook Thailand Green Curry Instant Noodle
This bowl, in fact, is two bowls. One you steep the noodles in. The second? Drain the broth from the first by poking holes in the lid and pour into it. The noodle is accompanied by a spicy green curry and chunks of vegetable and real chicken. The broth slurping soup worked well too.
#3: Xiao Ban Mian Traditional Shallot & Onion Oil Noodle
Start with a thin kind of rectangular noodle with a strong chew. The flavor that comes with it is a sweet and savory shallot and scallion oil – and it works so well. Who would think something so simple could be so delightful.
#2: TTL White Wine Carbonara Noodle – Taiwan
Much to my chagrin, TTL keeps coming out with interesting varieties. TTL stands for Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor – and they always have some kind of alcohol with their products. This one comes with a retort pouch will of creamy sauce and pork which is augmented by a sachet of white wine. A sipping soup is made with a separate sachet. The combination is apt and Very delicious.
#1: Mom’s Dry Noodle Dan Dan Noodle
The noodles came out with a very nice chew. They aren’t mushy whatsoever and have a confident backbone. The flavor is very good as well. The notes of sesame, Sichuan pepper oil, Sichuan pepper in the dry mix, sesame sauce as well as soy sauce all work together and play well with each other; nobody’s feet get stepped on. Simple yet complex.

This is wei lih jah jan mien, 維力炸醬麵 or soybean paste noodles with green onion soup. They are taiwanese noodles and awesome.
they come with 2 bowls to make your meal special, so that you can eat the noodles from one bowl and drink a delicious soup with the other.
turns out that these noodles are one of the most famous instant noodles in and from taiwan.
they sell jars of the sauce everywhere because you can use it to cook pretty much anything.
these are so good, you should make it a point to eat them before you check out.
