Why people don't like hammocks

Before I transitioned from the tent to now using a hammock. A few years back. At the beginning of my journey of learning everything about hammocks. Not only did I struggle to set it up. But also being able to get comfortable in it.
Now fast forward to today. If I had a choice between a tent or a hammock. I will always choose the hammock. I could of in those early days abandoned it. Are making the same mistakes I made back then.
In this episode. We are going to look at those mistakes. Not only for those who do not like hammocks. But also for those starting out. who may be struggling?

Five Tips For New Hammockers

After a year and a half of very consistent hammocking, we both sat down and thought about some very general tips for people just starting to get their feet wet in hammocking. These are pretty broad, but we both think they pertain very well to those just entering the hammock game. Hammocking can be a lot different than tent-camping, and certainly might take a different approach when starting out.

Q&A / Episode #1 / Why not a sleeping bag / Hammock Camping

Since starting this channel. I have been getting a lot of questions. Mainly about the hammock and the tarp. For a while now. I have been thinking about doing a Q&A series. I believe it is easier to learn something when someone shows you while talking about it. Then to just text it.
So the plan is to take some questions in the comment section. And try to answer them the best that I can.

If you are looking for the perfect hammock. To give you the best comfort whether you are hanging at the park. Taking a nap in the backyard or camping on your next adventure.
The biggest mistake that people will make that I believe. Is getting a hammock that is too small. Then come to the conclusion that the hammock is not for them.
In this episode. We are going to look at the different sizes. So you can find the Perfect Hammock.

Grand Trunk Single Parachute Hammock

The Grand Trunk single parachute hammock is a great addition to your gear collection, and will surely make just about any outdoor activity better. Hang it just about anywhere, and with a few customizations it can even be a great camping hammock.

This is a high-quality nylon hammock that weighs in at just 20 ounces, is 10' 6 long by 5' wide, and holds up to 400 pounds. It is triple-stitched so it will last for years. It comes with a starter rope kit and quality marine-grade carabiners for hanging right out of the bag. The attached stuff sack is great for grabbing-and-going as well as storing valuables and loose objects while hanging.

Overall, I can't say much of anything bad about this hammock, and if you can find a good deal on it, it's even better.
