Staying on Isla Franklin paradise island in San Blas archipelago was one of the most amazing travel experiences of my life.

There are 378 islands within the archipelago and they are scattered around in an area of about 100 square miles. The majority of the 378 islands have no inhabitants, but on the larger ones you will find the gentle native people known as the Kuna’s. San Blas is an autonomous territory in Panama formally called Kuna Yala.
It has never been so easy to be mindful and so present anywhere else than on an island in San Blas archipelago. I feel blessed that I have had an opportunity to discover this amazing place on earth and to come back here again.

Sailing San Blas Islands | Panama | GoPro Hero 7 Black, DJI Mavic Air & Sony A6000 footage
The next stop on our world trip was Panama where Jill and I spent four days exploring the beautiful archipelago of the San Blas Islands on Kaya, a 40ft sailing catamaran. We learned about the indigenous Guna tribe that lives on the islands and enjoyed the turquoise waters and beautiful beaches. Some of the islands are so small that you can walk around them in less than five minutes. Our fantastic crew Eloise (owner), Cristian (skipper) and two other guests (Tara and Claes) made the trip an unforgettable experience.

Panama City Travel Day 3 - Birthday
Our third day in Panama City, Panama. We explore more of Casco Viejo and celebrate Stephanie's birthday by visiting the U.S. Ambassador to Panama. We also explore a public market called Mercado San Felipe in the neighborhood Calidonia. We then enjoy some pool-side champagne and relaxation at the American Trade Hotel.

Contadora Island Panama
We take a ferry from Panama City to Contadora Island (part of Panama's Pearl Islands). We explore the small island including the abandoned and dilapidated Hotel Contadora Resort.
