14 Amazing Tourist Attractions in Pattaya.
Thailand's famous/infamous beach resort city of Pattaya has developed, shall we say a colourful reputation over the years.
Located about 100 kilometres from Thailand's capital city of Bangkok, Pattaya is an ideal place to enjoy the sun, sand, sea and entertainment.

1. Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden.
The absolutely amazing park at Nong Nooch offers an abundance of fun activities for the entire family.
Walkways disect brilliant colourful themed gardens, including a topiary garden, a 17th-century French garden, a European Renaissance garden, and species specific gardens, featuring plants like tropical palms, succulents, and phenominal bonsai's.
The amazing orchid garden will definately inspire the green thumb in you!

2. Jomtien Beach.
Stretching for six kilometres, Jomtien Beach is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya city which is four kilometres away.
You can get some sun along its golden stretch of beach or take refuge and relax in the shade provided.
If your a water lover, you can enjoy all kinds of activities, including jet-skiing, kitesurfing, parasailing, and windsurfing.
When hunger takes over, you'll find plenty of restaurants and cafes along the beach serving local cuisine and fresh seafood.
Close by, you will find the  family friendly Cartoon Network Amazone. It's an action-packed water park with spiralling slides, refreshing swimming pools, splashing fountains and cartoon-themed rides and characters.

3. Sanctuary of Truth.
It's philosophical reason being the magnificence of heaven recreated on Earth, this amazing temple, built entirely of wood, is a joy in Thai architecture.
Every part of this stunning temple is intricately decorated with wooden carvings, and the entire structure was built to pay homage to ancient religions and philosophies. The cycle of life, Utopia, and humanity's relationship to the universe are some of the themes reflected in the sculpures.
While visiting the sanctuary, you can experience the Thai cultural shows and Thai boxing exibitions, go elephant trekking or horseback riding, or go for a cruise on a speedboat.

4. Wat Yansangwararam.
As with all of Thailand's amazing temples, Wat Yansangwararam (known as Wat Yan) gives you an insight into not only Thai design and architectural traditions, but also into Thai society values.
Surrounded by sprawling palm gardens, the temple was dedicated to King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1988 to commemorate the 42nd year of his reign. Precious Buddhist relics are housed in the main complex. Wat Yansangwararam's shrine is located above the city, and can be reached by a flight of 299 steps which are lined with Naga snakes.

5. The Big Buddha (Wat Phra Yai).
This 18-meter-tall golden statue of the Buddha looking peaceful and relaxed is situated at the top of Pratamnak Hill which is south of Pattaya.
Climb to the top to see the statue up close and admire the several smaller Buddhas that surround it. You also have a birds eye view of Pattaya and the bay from the top of the hill.

6. Koh Larn (Coral Island). A 30 minute speed boat ride or 45 minute ferry ride from Pattaya, Koh Larn (also called Koh Lan) is a relaxing escape from the manic craziness of Pattaya. white sandy beaches loop their way around the island , with lots of food stalls, toilets, and plenty of water sports for you to enjoy.
Parasailing, banana boat rides, and underwater Sea walking are some of the most popular ones to experience.

7. Art in Paradise.
The incredible Art in Paradise is an illusion art museum and the perfect place for fun, creative photo opportunities.

8. Ramayana Water Park.
Stated as the biggest and best water park in Thailand, Ramayana Water Park offers an exhilarating day out for travellers of all ages, with 21 different water-themed rides.

9. Four Regions Floating Market.
The first and only floating market in Pattaya, this bustling hive of commerce is divided into different sections selling merchandise from the four major areas of Thailand.
