Scenic Walk in Webb Memorial Park with views of Boston
A relaxing outdoor walking tour of Webb Memorial State Park in Weymouth Massachusetts (MA) near Boston. This walk begins at the entrance of Webb Park near the parking lot. From there we walk .6 miles out on the peninsula, into Hingham Bay in Boston Harbor, to the end of Webb Park. Along the way there are many views of Boston and Monuments to people or events in history.
Webb Memorial State Park is a small, scenic park located in the town of Hingham, Massachusetts, along the shores of Hingham Bay. The park is a popular destination for picnicking, fishing, and hiking, with beautiful views of the Boston skyline visible from certain areas of the park. The park was established in the early 1930s in honor of General Richard J. Webb, a Revolutionary War hero who played a significant role in the Battle of Bunker Hill.
One of the main attractions of the park is the beach, which is perfect for swimming and sunbathing during the summer months. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of water-based activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding, or simply relax and take in the tranquil views of the bay. The park has several picnic areas equipped with tables and grills, making it an ideal location for a family or group gathering.
For those interested in hiking, the park has several trails that wind through the woods and along the shoreline. Webb Memorial State Park in Weymouth, MA. Webb Park is a hidden gem (in my opinion). I only found it because of its relative proximity to World’s End, Hingham. Webb Park is closer to Boston and there are many views of the city! Dogs are welcome on a leash, and there is a pavilion for picnics, and benches along the paths. There are several memorials to people, including the Dominic Sansone Memorial Promontory, and a monument to an event during the revolutionary war. The parking lot was almost full just before noon on Sunday, so I suggest going early in the day if you plan to visit. The video starts in the parking lot and continues ~.6 miles along the paths to the end of Webb Park. There are beaches, and views, and wildlife!
Suggested activities at Webb Memorial State Park include fishing, walking, cross country skiing, picnicking, and canoeing and kayaking.
If you are looking for a great place for an easy walk with a view of Boston, Webb Park is for you.

This is my 3rd Top-10 Smallest Towns video (previously did Kansas and Oklahoma). It's hard to believe Missouri's smallest towns are smaller than KS and OK, but it's true! And to be honest, they have some of the most unique stories as well. As you'll find in the video, 3 of them have ZERO people left but are still towns, so I added a few bonus towns. They range from the normal ghost town type stories to towns where just one family lives there to towns that have virtually no information at all available. Even though it was all over the state and confusing at times, I still had a blast exploring them! I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did making it!

This video is a look at Webb's City Store that was located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. It tells the story of how it grew from a tiny drug store into a massive department store and a precursor of big box stores. Of course it was also a huge tourist attraction, especially through the promotional efforts of its unusual owner James Earl Webb. Enjoy!

Oklahoma Ghost Towns Part 7 // Sumner, Webb City, Gray Horse
These Oklahoma ghost towns are all in the northwest part of the state. Starting in Sumner, the most impressive structure is the old school. Over in Webb City, there still a lot houses along with a couple old buildings on main street and a strong church community. Gray Horse has had a lot of history, most significant is the Osage Indian Murders in the 1920's, also known by the book and upcoming movie Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The abandoned school is amazing as well as the round dance hall in the middle of town!
