Things to do in Thomasville, Georgia #shorts
Thomasville is the second largest city in Southwest Georgia, behind Albany. The city is known as the “City of Roses” and hosts an annual Rose Festival. Thomasville, GA was incorporated as a town in 1831 and then established as a city in 1889. The community was named after a general of 1812, Jett Thomas. Thomasville is home to beautiful brick-paved streets, many museums and historical sites. It is a fantastic place to wine and dines with stunning restaurants in the city.

Tombstone, Arizona is a small town in South Eastern Arizona that is known for its Wild West history and attractions. Founded in 1879, Tombstone quickly became a booming mining town and was home to a number of notorious figures such as Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and the Clanton Gang. Much of the town burnt down in two different fires in the late 1800s, but they area has been brought back to the Old West charm.
Tombstone is a popular tourist destination and visitors can expect to see a variety of historical sites, museums, and attractions that pay homage to the town's Wild West past. Some of the must-see attractions in Tombstone include the OK Corral, the Bird Cage Theatre, and Boot Hill Cemetery. If you only have the time for one, I highly recommend the Bird Cage Theater, as that is one of the only buildings that survived the devastating fires and has an amazing amount of historical memorabilia.
In addition to these historical sites, Tombstone also hosts a number of annual events and festivals that celebrate the town's history and culture. These events include Helldorado Days, Tombstone Vigilante Days, and Wyatt Earp Days.

Day 2 Road Trip | Unclaimed Baggage | Piggie Park | HGTV's Hometown Kickstart Thomaston GA| Buc-ees
Check out our visit to Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro, AL, Piggie Park and the Thomaston, GA downtown area, and the Buc-ees in Fort Valley (Warner Roberts), GA.
Day 2. Road Trip towards Port Canaveral for our next cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras. We begin our day at Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro, AL. We are the first in the lobby and there for rope drop. Unclaimed baggage didn't disappoint and much larger than we expected. In fact, Unclaimmed Baggage and a second building or bargain basement. Next, we traveled to Thomaston, GA on of the towns features on the HGTV TV series Hometown Kickstart. We stopped for lunch at Piggie Park. The food was excellent and it was really cool to see the renovations from the show. We also checked out the downtown area. The local artisan sculpture and the town bench were pretty cool. Upper crust still said coming soon and didn't look like any work had been completed since the show. The renovations to the store fronts for Hair on the Square and Rescue Me Market and Mercantile both looked nice. Next, we stopped at Buc-ees in Fort Valley (Warner Roberts), GA on our way to our hotel for the night.

The Rock has a post office with ZIP code 30285,[2] although the post office is on the list to be closed.[3] The Rock is also home to the area-famous Rock Ranch, a small theme park with a farming theme. The Rock is bordered by the cities of Barnesville, Hannahs Mill, Meansville, and Yatesville.

Thomson (originally called Slashes) is a city in McDuffie County, Georgia, United States. The population was 6,778 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of McDuffie County.[4] Thomson's nickname is The Camellia City of the South, in honor of the thousands of camellia plants throughout the city. Thomson was founded in 1837 as a depot on the Georgia Railroad. It was renamed in 1853 for railroad official John Edgar Thomson and incorporated February 15, 1854 as a town and in 1870 as a city. It is part of the Augusta – Richmond County Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The old town of Thomaston, GA. Put together by my good friend, Gene Rudolph Roundman Milton.
Thomaston was incorporated on January 1, 1825,[6] and designated as the seat of Upson County. The town was named for General Jett Thomas, an Indian fighter in the War of 1812.[7] Jett is also credited with assisting in the construction of the state capitol at Milledgeville in 1805-7 and Franklin College on the campus of the University of Georgia in 1806.
