There are problems Most places are far too expensive and other places like Gary, Indiana are so run down, free is too expensive.
Today's list is about lake towns that you don't have to be rich to live in. We are looking at the cheapest lake towns you can afford and might be ready to call a realtor. They have lake towns in every state. From California to Georgia to Missouri and every state in between.
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. Most of these videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. Trying to Ride Single Track in Spirit Lake Idaho
In June I spent two weeks visiting Northern Idaho, including a stop in Spirit Lake. A small town just 25 miles from Spokane Washington where I spent a few days attempting to ride single track on the Empire Trails, Learning to make pottery at Sondahl Stoneware, Golfing and enjoying the beauty of this semi private lake.

When you think of Iowa, you probably envision endless rows of corn. But there's a whole different side of Iowa that we share in this episode from Iowa Great Lakes, a major summer tourism area! This region is a plethora of lakes along the Iowa/Minnesota border surrounding the towns of Spirit Lake and Okoboji, formed 13,500 years ago by the Des Moines lobe ice sheet as it pressed southward into Iowa. You'll find all manner of camping, boating, dockside bars and restaurants, and even an old-fashioned amusement park that we'll explore from our campsite in a beautiful county park.

Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah during the winter months, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and dog Zoe are avid boondockers, so while you'll occasionally find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. We've now transitioned from long-timing for six months a year, to living and traveling in our RV full-time.
