The Corderie Vallois industrial museum is a museum on the move. The waterwheel placed on the river Cailly is put back into operation at each visit in order to provide the necessary energy for all the museum's machines. This factory dating from the beginning of the 19th century was operated between 1880 and 1978 by the Vallois family for the manufacture of cotton ropes and braids. A visit to the museum retraces the history of the factory and shares with visitors the know-how of the rope workers.
