Eleme Local government And major market
Eleme is one of the twenty three (23) Local Government Areas in Rivers State, with its administrative headquarters at ogale. Created by late Head of State Gen. Sani Abacha from Tai- Eleme LGA in 1996. It is bounded by Tai LGA in the East, Obio Akpor LGA in the West, Oyibo LGA in the North and Okirika/Ogu-bolo LGA in the South. Eleme LGA is made up of ten major clans (ten political wards) of one hundred and ninety nine communities (settlements). They share cultural relationships and intermarry with their Ogoni brothers and sisters.
The LGA has a total population of 257,904.There are two refineries in Eleme LGA, Eleme Petrochemical Complex, Nigeria Ports Authority, Naval College etc .The LGA is connected to the Power Grid, with no pipe-borne water.(Portable Water) Is a semi – Urban Settlement.
Their major occupation is farming and trading. The LGA has a total of 445 Churches and 155 Schools and 6 Mosques. There are ten political wards,7 health facilities,4 health posts and a general hospital situated at ogale. The youth from ages 18-40 form the highest number in the population, followed by children from 0-18.There educational status is above average. There are more females than males in the entire LGA.Eleme market is located in Eleme local government. The market is a one stop commodity market. The market is famous and people come from far and near to either buy or sell goods and services. The market serves the neighbouring communities and as well the host communities. Arrays of goods and services exchange hands here and as such adds up to the economic development of the people of Eleme and its environs. The market has great capacity for growth and expansion but is hindered by a lack of space hence it's location at the centre of Eleme community. Apart from the economic role, it also serves as a tourist site for newcomers. I seriously advice the Local government Authorities in Eleme to look for ways to enlarge the market to accommodate more people and businesses. When this is done it will further increase the revenue capacity of the council and communities

Mizumoto Park (水元公園) is located in Katsushika Ward of Tokyo and is the largest park in all 23 wards of Tokyo. This does not include Showa Kinen Park, located way out west in Tachikawa city. That area is not a part of the 23 special wards that make up what we know as Tokyo city.
You can access this park from Kanamachi Station and walk about 20 minutes north of the station or take a local Keisei bus to get there.
The park was built in 1965 as a green space to help people enjoy more greenery since back then the air pollution was very high and people didn't have easy access to forests or parks. It was built and is maintained by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
The park is located directly across the Edo River from Matsudo city, in Chiba prefecture, where I live. I can actually see the sequoia trees in the distance from my apartment building.
The park has a nature preserve on-site, a huge lake, tons of open park space, many planted and wild trees, a bird sanctuary, and much more!
