Hoe is het om naar Gambia te gaan? Wat is er zoal te doen naast zon, zee en strand? We bezoeken het Senegambia Beach hotel en het bijhorende strand, de strip in Kololi, Bijilo forest park, Abuko national park, Lamin Lodge en Serekunda. We doen ook een birdwatching excursie en zien hoe vissers hun dagelijkse vangst binnenhalen op het strand.

Dit vriendelijke land ontvangt toeristen met open armen en het ligt op maar 6 uur vliegen van Nederland. Ron bezoekt enkele steden, zoals Serekunda. Ook stapt hij op een boot om de mangrove-bossen bij de Lamin Lodge te bezichtigen. Spannend wordt het bij een krokodillenpool en later ook nog een slangenboerderij. Wij verblijven in Hotel Bamboe Garden. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer 400 meter van het strand Kololi.
Kort na het uitpakken van de koffers is het tijd voor een strandwandeling.
