Tour our stylish Airbnb apartment in Budapest, Hungary! My cousin Chris and I took our annual trip to Budapest and had a blast in this amazing, exciting city. We rented the Dreher Palace Balcony apartment in historical downtown on the Pest side. We spent 13 days in Budapest on a month long European tour and this gorgeous apartment felt like home. The building/courtyard has an aristocratic history. It's centrally located, two Metro stops within walking distance, close to the Danube River, ruin bars, and many tourist attractions.
Each day in Budapest offered a new adventure. The people, culture, food, and city stole my heart. It's cheaper than Washington, DC and a great value for your money.

AIRBNB BUDAPEST APARTMENT TOUR | Black Solo Female Travel to Budapest, Hungary
Black women travel solo too! Here's my cozy Airbnb Budapest Apartment I highly recommend, especially for solo female travelers visiting Budapest. I stayed in a secured building and apartment centrally located in District VII. After Chris departed, I spent the next 3 weeks touring Europe SOLO. This apartment was a few blocks from my first one in a lively part of the historic district, blocks from ruin bars, cafes, the synagogue, and Goszdu Udvar.
As a solo traveler, this apartment was perfect with everything I needed. The building was clean, secured, and quiet. The hosts were wonderful and the apartment was very comfortable with a full bath, washer and dryer, and central air. Hungarians were delightful and made me feel welcome. It's an easy city to maneuver and has many attractions so there's always something to do.

Budapest Apartment Tour: $500 per Month AirBnb in Budapest
Here's a quick Budapest apartment tour of the AirBnb that I stayed in during my 3 months in Budapest.
Including all of the service fees the apartment came to around $500 Canadian per month. This includes internet and all utilities with the apartments coming furnished and lightly stocked.
This Budapest apartment featured a loft with a large living space and a separate kitchen/bathroom area. There was a courtyard view although the apartment didn't get much natural light throughout the day.
The kitchen came equipped with an electric stovetop, dishwasher, lots of counter space, and it was stocked with some supplies and necessary cooking utensils.
The bathroom was small and came with the tub/shower and washing machine. The window in the bathroom let in some natural light and made it easy to air it out if it got too humid.
For the price I'm not sure you can find similarly priced apartments anymore. I rented this AirBnb apartment in Budapest back in October of 2015 and after checking in December of 2017 I couldn't find anything similar in price.

We loved staying at this Airbnb apartment in downtown Budapest. I couldn't imagine being in a better location. It was really close to restaurants and shops and within walking distance of everything you want to see in Budapest. The Szechenyi Baths and the House of Terror Museum are SO close. The apartment building has a charming courtyard and the apartment itself has two bedrooms and three bathrooms. I loved the high ceilings, huge bright windows, and peaceful location.

There are 23 districts in the Hungarian Capital, so I understand you're unsure where to stay in Budapest. In this video, I'll take you on a tour of Budapest and share 3 of the best areas to stay as a tourist.
District 7 (also known as The Jewish Quarter) is the best area for nightlife and a trendy vibe. So, if you're coming to Budapest looking for the famous ruin bars, this is the place to stay.
District 1 is the best area to stay for families and travellers looking for a more calm and more upscale part of town. The area is also known as The Castle District, where you'll find the Buda Castle and the iconic Fisherman's Bastion.
District 5 is the best area to stay for most tourists as this is downtown Budapest, the city centre. Here, you'll find quite a few of the most famous attractions and things to do, so if you want to be close to all the action, staying in District 5 is a good idea.

Welcome to our Budapest vlog, after Prague we took a night train to Budapest and spent 3 days there. We stayed in a huge airbnb, took a Danube night boat tour which was amazing, went to thermal baths and hanged out in a typical ruin bar. The weather was perfect, cold but sunny so we could explore the city.

Budapest (UK: /ˌb(j)uːdəˈpɛst, ˌbʊd-, ˈb(j)uːdəpɛst, ˈbʊd-/, US: /ˈbuːdəpɛst, -pɛʃt, ˌbuːdəˈpɛʃt/;Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈbudɒpɛʃt] ⓘ) is the capital and most populous city of Hungary. It is the ninth-largest city in the European Union by population within city limits and the largest city on the Danube river; the city has an estimated population of 1,752,286 over a land area of about 525 square kilometres (203 square miles).Budapest, which is both a city and county, forms the centre of the Budapest metropolitan area, which has an area of 7,626 square kilometres (2,944 square miles) and a population of 3,303,786. It is a primate city, constituting 33% of the population of Hungary.
The history of Budapest began when an early Celtic settlement transformed into the Roman town of Aquincum, the capital of Lower Pannonia.The Hungarians arrived in the territory in the late 9th century,but the area was pillaged by the Mongols in 1241–42. Re-established Buda became one of the centres of Renaissance humanist culture by the 15th century. The Battle of Mohács, in 1526, was followed by nearly 150 years of Ottoman rule. After the reconquest of Buda in 1686, the region entered a new age of prosperity, with Pest-Buda becoming a global city after the unification of Buda, Óbuda and Pest on 17 November 1873, with the name 'Budapest' given to the new capital. Budapest also became the co-capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a great power that dissolved in 1918, following World War I. The city was the focal point of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 and the Battle of Budapest in 1945, as well as the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
Budapest is a global city with strengths in commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment.[32][33] Hungary's financial centre, Budapest is also the headquarters of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the European Police College[35] and the first foreign office of the China Investment Promotion Agency. Over 40 colleges and universities are located in Budapest, including Eötvös Loránd University, Corvinus University, Semmelweis University, University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Opened in 1896, the city's subway system, the Budapest Metro, serves 1.27 million, while the Budapest Tram Network serves 1.08 million passengers daily.
The central area of Budapest along the Danube River is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has several notable monuments of classical architecture, including the Hungarian Parliament and the Buda Castle. The city also has around 80 geothermal springs,the largest thermal water cave system, second largest synagogue, and third largest Parliament building in the world. Budapest attracts around 12 million international tourists per year, making it a highly popular destination in Europe.
