Colaneri Estate Winery is a family-owned and operated winery beautifully situated on the St. David’s Bench in Niagara’s wine region. The grapes are hand-picked and harvested to produce premium VQA award-wining wines from its surrounding vineyards. We've been to 20 wineries already in Niagara-on-the-lake and I am sharing you the best wineries in my opinion based on quality & taste of wine, experience, location (great for pictures), uniqueness of each winery & customer service. These are in no particular order because I really love each place for different reasons.

On a recent trip to Ontario, Canada, I hired a car and made my way down to Niagara on the Lake for a weekend getaway with my best friend! In this video, you will find information about things to do in the Niagara area, join us for an incredible wine tour and see the famous Niagara Falls.
We spent 2 nights in one of Canada's prettiest towns. Reminiscent of Banff, the small town of Niagara on the Lake captured my heart instantly and captivated us as we spent two nights in this beautiful area.
We stayed at Queens Landing, a gorgeous vintage hotel just a few minutes walk from the main town. After an incredible breakfast croissant at Niagara Juice Co, we spent our first day on a wonderful wine tour with Cellar Door Tours. Niagara on the Lake is a very renowned wine region in Canada and as a wine lover myself, exploring the local offerings was the number 1 priority while visiting. We did a lot of research on wine tours prior to our trip and while there is plenty of choice, Cellar Doors stood out to us and we were very happy with the tour! With visits to 4 local wineries, lunch included and door-to-door transport, we were set!
We initially planned our weekend getaway to see Niagara Falls and tick this world landmark off our bucket lists. Just 30m from Niagara on the Lake, Niagara Falls was super accessible and we visited on out last day. [Spoiler alert] it ended up being our least favourite part. Watch along and let me know what you thought of the falls? Worth it or overrated?
