Have you ever thought about touring each country and doing the Epcot Around the World challenge with your own little global itinerary?
What is EPCOT anyway?
EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Sounds pretty epic, right? I agree!
Believe it or not, EPCOT was based off of Walt Disney’s vision of a utopian city for all things futuristic and wonderful.
While Walt Disney’s dream to create EPCOT was based off the idea that actual citizens could inhabit and enjoy the fruits of an imaginative community that was always on the cutting edge of technology, that did not exactly come into fruition.
But, like most things where Walt Disney is concerned, the dream still lived on.
Visiting the Epcot Pavilions in World Showcase
So now that you have an understanding that EPCOT is broken down into two main areas: Future World, and the World Showcase, let’s dive a little deeper into the latter. Or, as some call it, your round-trip ticket around the world.
And so, without further ado, here are the 11 countries you’ll find in the EPCOT World Showcase:

The countries are laid out in a circular fashion around a lake, The World Showcase Lagoon.
Therefore, if you entered EPCOT from the main front entrance, got to the World Showcase, and took a left, this is the order in which you’d encounter the countries.
Additionally, you have the option to take a boat straight across the lagoon if you’d prefer to start right in the middle of the World Showcase experience.

Though not translatable to English in exact measure, it means, more or less, “the sweetness of doing nothing.” Italians find pleasure in carefree idle time, not desiring to expedite the processes of everyday tasks for fear of losing the joy in doing them.
At Here With the Magic, we tend to agree with the Italian mantra of Dolce far niente, and we invite you to step outside your comfort zone and taste the sun-kissed sweetness of doing nothing. We start small, by offering you a minute each weekday to practice being present, being at peace, surrounding to the joy that is found in simplicity. If you find yourself wandering back here throughout the day, perhaps you’ll peruse the spaces below to amuse that intrigue. It is intentional time, a gift you give yourself, a moment to travel and experience something and somewhere completely new. One of my favorite Things to do in EPCOT is having some of the Best Drinks offered in World Showcase.Many Disney Fans know this as the Famous Drinking Around the World Experience.Let’s Start at the Mexico Pavilion in the Famous Place “LA CAVA DEL TEQUILA” this is a Mandatory Stop for cocktail Fans. I dare to say this is the Place where I’ve had one of the Best Margarita’s I’ve Ever had in my Life.
Which one would you pick? The Avocado or Horchata Margarita?
WHY NOT BOTH.It’s time to visit the German Pavilion and try one very Tasty Grapefruit Beer called The Schofferhoffer. I Love the blend of grapefruit and beer combination: DELICIOUS!!I also really want to try the Other Beers offered in the German Pavilion.
Now, let’s go to Italy and try some Sparkling Wine with Apricot. I Love Fruity Drinks!!And Last but not least: Time to drink the LEGENDARY IRISH CARBOMB at the UK pavilion. Guiness Beer with a Shot of Whiskey and Bailey’s. RING THE BELL.I will be sharing more drinks from other countries on my next visit to EPCOT.

What to eat at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie | Disney World’s Epcot | World Showcase
The first stop whenever going to Walt Disney Disney World’s Epcot Center is the pastry shop inside the France Pavilion. You walk past Spaceship Earth and veer right towards the World Showcase past Canada and England. Nestled in the back of the France Pavilion you will find what is considered the best quick service menu in all of Walt Disney World!
The World Showcase highlights 11 countries from around the world. The showcase highlights different things from each country. Most importantly, you will find some of that country’s favorite foods on their menus.
In Epcot’s France Pavilion has French pastry chefs doing externships (internships) to bake some of what France is known for. These chefs are perfecting their skills making Croissants, Baguettes, Mousse, Quiche, and so much more.
We head to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie so enjoy some of the best deals, but when we arrive early like at rope drop, it’s one of the only places that are open and has breakfast.
Epcot's Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing, delicious breakfast or lunch.

Canada Pavilion | Epcot World Showcase Walt Disney World Florida 2021
Prior to the construction of the pavilion, Walt Disney Productions sought financial support for the themed pavilion from the Canadian government. The company wanted the federal government to fund the cost of building the attraction; in return, the government would have input into the design and layout. The Canadian government was concerned about the stereotype of Canada that Disney wanted (i.e. lumberjacks). Funding was refused and Disney threatened to pull the exhibit, but ultimately did not.
At the opening together with the park on October 1, 1982, the original musical talent for the Canadian pavilion was a trio called the Caledonian Pipe Band, consisting of two pipers and one drummer. The performers were Robert Bob Proctor (lead drummer) and brothers Kenneth Mauchin (piper) and Robert Mauchin (also a piper). They were recruited by Ron Rodriguez (talent co-ordinator for Walt Disney World) from the Rosie O'Grady's Pipe Band of Orlando. Because all three had ties to Scotland, they also performed at the nearby United Kingdom Pavilion at various times.
In 2007, Disney updated the attraction O Canada!, a Circle-Vision 360° movie filmed in 1981. For several years, the Canadian Tourism Commission lobbied to have the movie updated, partly to remove outdated stereotypes of Canadian life. On August 31, 2007, the updated edition opened with a new host, Canadian actor Martin Short, and Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila reprising the original film's theme song, Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey).
Layout
The Canada Pavilion is designed to remind guests of the Canadian outdoors. It includes a canyon, a waterfall, gardens, a pool with fountains and totem poles. The main attraction is O Canada!, a Circle-Vision 360° movie that takes guests on a tour of the country, including its landmarks, cities, scenery, and people. The pavilion also includes Le Cellier Steakhouse and the semi-permanent home of the Celtic rock band Off Kilter, which was replaced by a show featuring a Canadian lumberjack competition.

Walt Disney World - Epcot Center - World Showcase - Germany Pavilion (4K) (HD)
Guten Morgen, and welcome to this charming Bavarian village, nestled in the beautiful Alpine foothills. Located at the hypotenuse of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Bavaria is a harbor of tradition, celebration and architecture that looks to be right out of a fairytale. Vibrant festivals denote the seasons and dancers, wearing clogs and lederhosen, take to the cobblestone streets with their merrymaking. Luscious aromas of currywurst and reibekuchen (fried potato pancakes) fill the air, luring villagers out of doors on even the coldest days to enjoy the steaming, salty goodness in even better company. Steins filled with satiating hefeweizens are held aloft in a hearty “Prost!” sure to keep everyone warm well beyond the lamp lighting. From the bountiful harvest that brings everyone together for Oktoberfest to the snowfalls of Winter Solstice, Germany is a nation of time-honored storytelling that should most certainly begin with “Once Upon a Time…”
