Visiting the Canadian side of Niagara Falls in Winter
On the second day of my Canada trip, I took a boat trip to Niagara Falls on Hornblower cruise. I have shared the ticket price & timings of the Hornblower cruise. If you are looking for a hotel near Niagara falls offering the best views of the falls! Let me tell you that I stayed in the Sheraton on the Falls hotel and my room, as well as the restaurant, offered a great view of all the 3 falls of Niagara Falls. There are many other places to visit near Niagara Falls like Skylon Tower which has an observatory deck to have a panoramic view of Niagara Falls & the areas in USA & Canada around it. This video also includes a few glimpses of QEW expressway which is the road from Toronto to Niagara Falls or US border.

Top 10 Thing to do in NIAGARA FALLS in the WINTER | Ontario | Canada
We headed to Niagara Falls, on the Canadian side, for a lovely winter weekend getaway! While most people only think of visiting Niagara Falls in the summer, there is actually still a lot to do and see in the winter! Winter in Niagara Falls gives you a whole different perspective of the falls. The mist coats the surroundings in a think layer of ice, and a light snow fall sits right on top, making the area looking like a winter wonderland. While not all attraction run in the winter, Journey Behind the Falls is still open (weather pending) and is only $15. It's the closest you will get to the fall in the winter. Other winter activities include: having brunch or heading up the Skylone Tower for a different view of the falls, trying you chances at the casino, bringing out your inner child with arcade games on Clifton Hill, followed by dinner and drinks at the Niagara Brewing Company. Lastly, end off your day with another stroll by the falls to see them at night, and catch an evening show at the theater in the casino.

Visiting Niagara Falls in winter is an adventure. The beauty is absolutely stunning, but it is also a truly sensory experience, the sight and sound of this massive amount of water, and the touch of frozen mist wakes up your senses to the degree that we feel only as kids.

Only after visiting Niagara Falls this winter, I realized how seeing one of the most phenomenal forces of nature feels like. And I've seen the images of Niagara falls many times, thought that I had a good understanding of what I was about to see, but I was wrong. It is simply impossible to imagine this incredible force of nature without seeing it in person. The never ending flow of water in such massive size and force is truly a bucket list travel experience.
We spent three days exploring Niagara falls in Canada and in USA (which are so wonderfully different!), and this video is Part I of three video series. So here's Day 1 of our Niagara Falls experience (in Canada), and I will see you next week in the USA side of the falls!

Niagara Falls Canada Winter Drive And Walk To See The Frozen Falls + Clifton Hill 2022
Welcome everyone! Today we are taking a narrated drive in Niagara Falls starting from the 405 highway. We drive down Stanley Avenue and turn on to Ferry street. We drive in the tourist area of Clifton Hill and drive along the Niagara River Parkway and enjoy the views of Niagara Parks covered in snow. I park and walk to see the views of the frozen American falls and talk about some interesting facts about the falls and ice bridge. We continue the drive to Dufferin Islands. We drive back towards the falls and drive up Clifton Hill where we end the tour.

However, it's not uncommon to experience sudden drops in temperature, so be sure to pack layers and warm clothing.
March isn’t one of the better months to take in Niagara Falls. Winter often has the place in its firm and chilly grip, and when it doesn’t, it can make for a very wet and muddy time that’s still plenty cool. However, this year it is much warmer and not much snow around.
