Japan - The Land of The Rising Sun, Well there are plenty of amazing things to do when you are in Japan, enjoying Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and so many more great cities as well as temples, shrines and bamboo forests.

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

WHEN TO VISIT JAPAN (and when NOT to!) ???? seasons, dates, advice | japan travel guide

Watch this to know when to AVOID coming to Japan and when the best times of year are for travel!

After living in Japan for five years, the importance surrounding the contrast of the different seasons has rubbed off on me ???? So now I'm here today to tell you what the best times of year I think are to visit Japan and the ones you ABSOLUTELY should avoid if possible!! There are a lot of holidays not reflected on the calendar so it's very easy for tourists to accidentally come during a bad time of year and as a result their trip isn't as good...don't get me wrong, if your trip happens to be in one of the bad times of year to visit, you will still have a great time, but everything will...require more planning, let's say ????

What do you think? Let me know if there are any more times you'd like to mention down below or let me how your trip to Japan was and what time of year you've visited in if you've come before!!

Why Japanese Don't Like Foreigners Living in Japan

Get 10% off (save up to $44!) your own authentic Japanese snack box from Bokksu using my link: and code PAOLO10

10 Reasons Why Japanese Don't Like Foreigners Living in Japan. It’s probably fair to say that visiting Japan as a tourist compared to living and working in Japan is a very different experience. It’s no longer all about visiting cool sites and eating awesome food, Foreign residents quickly become part of the daily grind with every other Japanese person living here. And what a lot of foreigners don’t realize is there are quite a lot of unwritten rules when living in Japan in order to help keep it a pleasant society, until maybe it’s too late. The idea behind this video is to share some interesting unwritten rules I’ve personally come across to help anyone planning on living in Japan to avoid being thought of as a rude foreigner.

As always, these are general rules in Japan, nothing is absolute in this world, everyone is different and reactions from Japanese will vary on how sensitive they are to these rules. Some Japanese dislike this behavior quite a bit while some Japanese maybe okay with it. I am speaking in general terms. The point of this video is to help foreigners, who plan to live in Japan or maybe recently moved to Japan, understand what the regular Japanese culture and Japanese customs are so that they don't come off rude without knowing it. I hope this helps as a Japan guide. As always, let me know how it compares to your culture.

Shocking Laws okay in Japan, but illegal around the world. So I’ve made videos before on things you can’t do in Japan because of laws or unknown laws that could get you arrested, but in this video I wanted to switch things up a little and share with you some things that are legal in Japan but may be illegal in other parts of the world. Many think that Japan is a very strict country, but when you hear some of these Japanese laws you may be scratching your head. And to be clear from the start, I don’t recommend doing any of these things. I’m not providing legal advice and this is for entertainment only.
