We reviewed our experience in the new Turkish Airlines business lounge during a stopover in Istanbul Airport. This lounge is available for Business Class passengers of Turkish Airlines or Star Alliance group (please note you cannot get in with Star Alliance Gold status - there is a different lounge for this). The service is similar as before pandemic, but with limited options on hot meals. Turkish Airlines is one of the biggest airlines in the world, flying direct to 126 countries countries.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American wide-body jet airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After dropping its unconventional Sonic Cruiser project, Boeing announced the conventional 7E7 on January 29, 2003, which focused largely on efficiency. The program was launched on April 26, 2004, with an order for 50 aircraft from All Nippon Airways (ANA), targeting a 2008 introduction. On July 8, 2007, a prototype 787 was rolled out without major operating systems, and then the aircraft experienced multiple delays until its maiden flight on December 15, 2009. Turkish Air Business Class Lounge in Istanbul
If you plan on flying out of Istanbul's relatively new airport, I highly recommend you work on getting that upgrade, so you can experience the greatest Business Class lounge in the world. By experience, I mean taste. They have several chefs on duty throughout the day, cooking at least a half dozen dishes from scratch, before your eyes, in mini kitchens. I shot this entire video on my iPhone so I could be discreet.

That's right, there are two lounges, which have different entry requirements despite being nearly identical on the inside. I'm back in the air with a business class product Turkish Airlines never talks about. You won't find any mention of these A350 business suites on their website and you have to dig around in the aviation press (or on YouTube!) to find out the details of this very unusual and very luxurious closing door suite. It's my first time passing through Istanbul since 2019 when the airport opened so this was a fun trip to do - and boy, is that airport BIG!

Turkish Airlines gave the check-in procedure for their business class passengers a complete new look. A separated hall for only business class passengers. What I really liked it that it feels very personal with these little benches at each check-in desk. And that there are some sofa's and chairs opposite of the check-in desks so you can organize your luggage or wait for the rest of your group to finish.
