In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

What is going on everyone? Who wants to know what state to move to if you want to better your chances of having an underachiever for a child? I know I did about 20 years ago when my kids started hitting the school age. I wanted to leave CA and find a better state for education and needed to know which to avoid.
If you are looking for a new state with good schools this video is for you. It’s going to list the ones you should scratch off your list. Now as always we are dealing in averages. We’re discovering the BEST places to live in the United States, The WORST places to live and where you might want to visit and take a vacation.
Durango is a small city in southwestern Colorado, near the New Mexico border. The 19th-century Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad steam train passes mountains and canyons. In the city center, its affiliated Railroad Museum displays restored locomotives, aircraft and a baggage car converted into a movie theater. Nearby, the Powerhouse Science Center offers interactive exhibits in a former power plant.

Today's adventure took us to Cañon City, the Royal City of the Gorge! (Februrary 11, 2023)
Cañon City began as a supply camp for the South Park Valley. With a diverse economy of logistics, mining, oil and agriculture, it quickly became one of early-Colorado's most important cities. Today Cañon is famous for it's location next to the Royal Gorge, outdoor activities and large number of regional prisons!
My family and I are on a mission to learn about the history and geography of where we live by visiting every town within a 4 hour drive of our house. We live in Pueblo West and once per month we are going to venture out and explore the great state of Colorado, one town at a time!

Today's adventure took us to Walsenburg, the Heart of Spanish Peaks Country! (January 2, 2022)
Walsenburg began as the village of Plaza de los Leones and became a trading center with the arrival of Fred Walsen. When connected to rail, coal mining quickly took off with Walsenburg sitting perfectly between the Steel Mill and mining towns, carrying the economy until the 1940's. Today Walsenburg struggles, unable to rebound back to the boom-town it once was despite tourism efforts.
