Tahiti is a magical place. With black sand beaches, lagoons, waterfalls and 2 extinct volcanoes. Explored by Captian James Cook in the18th century, it was also often painted by French artist Paul Gauguin.
Tahitian culture is a place where the french Polynesian traditions of music, dance and art rose from the wonder of everyday island life. It's a popular vacation destination.
Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. It's known for it's scuba diving. Best time to visit Bora Bora are November and April offering fine weather temperatures in the mid 70's to 80's. High season runs from May to October and the number of tourists swells.
