1. Tinago Falls, Philippines
On days when the powerful Tinago Falls is slow enough, one of the Philippines most stunning waterfalls is also home to two accessible swimming holes. Around the falls is a thriving rainforest that make for the perfect adventure.
2. Sliding Rock, United States
Go to North Carolina’s Sliding Rock, which is exactly what it sounds like. Nestled in Pisgah National Forest, this slanted rock is a favorite for tourists wanting a little thrill and a reprieve from the summer heat.
3. Cenote Ik Kil, Mexico
Take a swim in a Mayan holy spot, the Cenote Ik Kil in Yucatan, Mexico. The popular tourist destination comes with a restaurant and a shop, so you can commemorate your dip in the 115-foot-deep pools with a meal and a souvenir.
4. To Sua Ocean Trench, Samoa
The 100-foot-deep pool on the southern coast of Samoa’s Upolu island is just one of the attractions on hand. In addition, the village of Lotofago has a vibrant food market, a white sand beach, and plenty more to see and do.
5. Kuang Si Falls, Laos
A series of sterling blue pools are formed as the water rushes down multi-tiered Kuang Si Falls, an unbelievably beautiful location south of Luang Prabang, Laos. This is also home to several ancient temples and thriving marketplaces.
6. Jean-Larose Waterfall, Canada
You won’t need to climb Quebec’s iconic Mont Saint-Anne, but you will need to descend the 400-step incline to get to the base of the mountain where some world class swimming awaits. Water-filled basins sit beneath a 224-foot waterfall. Even if you don’t swim, the view alone is worth it.
7. Opal Pool, United States
To get to Oregon’s Opal Pool, you’ll need to hike three-and-a-half miles through the verdant beauty of Willamette National Forest, an otherworldly landscape of old-growth Douglas firs. The destination is worth the effort however, as you’ll be greeted with gorgeous, brisk water all year round.
8. Devil’s Pool, Zambia
There is a swimming hole on the very edge of Victoria Falls. Steely-nerved travelers can take a dip in a swimming hole that runs right along the edge of the tremendous drop.
9. Dudu Blue Lagoon, Dominican Republic
Keep an eye out for divers ascending to the top of this gorgeous clearwater lagoon in Cabrera in the Dominican Republic. Dudu Blue Lagoon is the only place in the world where a diver can go from one freshwater lake to another through a series of spectacular sea caves.
10. Giola Natural Pool, Greece
Only the most adventurous explorers need travel to the small village of Astris on the Greek island of Thassos in search of the Giola Natural Pool. Once you arrive, however, you’ll get the opportunity to take a dip in a natural swimming pool carved into the rocks of the Aegean Sea’s historic coastline.

Welcome back to Around The Globe, today on the channel we are going to check out the WORST ISLAND VACATION SPOTS RANKED (warning: gross).There's nothing more relaxing and therapeutic than the sound of crashing waves and sand on our feet. This is why beach destinations are at the top of our list whenever we want to get away for a bit of R&R. The peaceful view of the sunrise or sunset, the smell of salty sea wind makes us want to breathe deeper and take it all in. What if instead of that, we smell something a little funky, see floating trash on the water and more washed up on the shore? Our vacation just turned into a nightmare. Here are the 10 worst island vacation spots to travel.
1) Phu Quoc, Vietnam. This country rounds up the list of Southeast Asian countries with at least one dirty beach. Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Vietnam is a country located between Thailand and Malaysia. It is surrounded by the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. One island west of Ho Chi Minh City is also surrounded with rubbish, Phu Quoc. In most pictures, the beaches here are immaculate, but if we search further we'll see how all of them have some level of trash hidden someplace away from the wandering tourist. Some places are worse than others, but we can't say there's zero trash on even a single beach. 2) Maya Bay, Thailand. Maya Bay is being healed as we read this article. It's been closed for more than a year and will remain closed until the better part of 2021. This may just be the most beautiful beach on this list, and definitely the most popular. This was partly the fault of Leo DiCaprio and Danny Boyle. Danny Boyle directed the film The Beach and Leonardo DiCaprio starred in it. The beach, which was portrayed as THE beach in the movie, was actually Thailand's Maya Bay. It is truly a paradise. But since that film's release, tourists came in the hundreds, then thousands, until the visitors left more trash than the locals could take out. Summers officially ended! And if you live in Arizona like me, then you are impossibly thankful for that. Summer means so frigging much, excruciating heat, AC on full blast, ice cream, and of course, cooling off with a nice dip in a pool!
Pools have been a staple of any summer event, whether its a large public pool, some epic water park, or even someones personal pool. It’s always refreshing to take a dip and relax. However...The difference between most pools and what I’m about to talk about today? Most public and private pools aren’t terrifying.
Some pools out there want to go that extra mile and not only give you an experience you wont forget, but also scare the hell out of you while doing it. Thankfully though, I don’t think you’ll find any floaters in these pools.
From a pool high up in the sky with no harness to a pool where you’re surrounded by mountains, here are ten of the scariest pools in the world,
With all that said and done, lets begin shall we? #10: Marina Bay Sands.
The Marina Bay Sands resort is a luxury location in Singapore, with several different amenities for guests, including shops and casinos. But undoubtedly one of its best views would be its pool, located on the top of the resort itself. If you’re like and hate heights, you’re probably thinking of one thing: Nope. Nope nope, nope nope nope. And I don’t blame you if you do think that. This is a pool on top of 57 levels of hotel, with zero guard rails or safety precautions seemingly. This looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen. However, it seems to not have any real problems attributed to it, so I guess thats pretty neat. This pool spans all three of the hotel buildings, stretching 146 meters in total, making it both a long pool, and still very very terrifying.
