TOP 10 RICHEST COUNTRIES IN AFRICA BY GDP 2020/21 - LARGEST ECONOMIES

Top 10 richest countries in Africa by GDP.
Largest African economies 2020
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Nominal GDP measures a country’sgross domestic product using current prices, without adjusting forinflation. Contrast this with real GDP, which measures a country’s economic output adjusted for the impact of inflation. While the two indices measure the same output, they are used for very different purposes: changes in value versus changes in volume.

Deeper definition

GDP is the core measure of a country’s economic health, totaling the monetary value of all goods and services produced in a given time period, minus the value of the goods and services used up in production. Businesses large and small rely on GDP for major planning decisions. For investors, GDP is a guide for estimating profit margins and making financial decisions. Economists use it to understand the economy and make forecasts.

Nominal GDP

Nominal economic statistics, also called current-dollar statistics, are not adjusted to account for the price changes from inflation and deflation. The natural rise and fall (mostly rise) of prices is captured by nominal GDP, which tracks the gradual increase of the value of an economy over time. If overall gross domestic product rises 2 percent in a year and inflation runs at 2 percent over the same period, nominal GDP will be +4 percent for that year.

Nominal GDP is the preferred figure for comparing GDP to other variables that also don’t adjust for inflation. For example, debt is always calculated and expressed as a nominal figure, so debt-to-GDP ratios are always based on nominal GDP. Because inflation is baked into nominal GDP figures, it can give an inaccurate view of growth.

10 most powerful passports in Africa 2021

10 most powerful passports in Africa
When talking about the 10 most powerful passports in Africa, we are not talking about the population or the large territory occupied by some big countries. Powerful passports could be a result of well thought out foriegn policy, how a country is rated by the committee of nations, how seriously you take security challenges of your country, how you handled corruption issues in your country, the rate of acceptance by tourist visiting the country, the national currency, how beautiful and clean is the country. The african union and many of the continents economic organizations have made several attempts to create a Visa-free african passport. The idea of a Visa-free passport dates back a quarter of a century but has failed to succeed for due to the fear of terrorism, illegal migration,  smuggling, the spread of diseases, and negative impacts on local job markets. In 2017, the AU created an African passport. This was the project initiated by former Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. However, the passport is only available to senior diplomats and top officials of AU’s 55 member states. Of those member states, only Seychelles offers visa-free access to all African countries. TOP 12 AFRICAN COUNTRIES WITH AMAZING NATURAL RESOURCES

A natural resource is a material from the earth used to support life and meet people's needs. Any natural substance, organism, medium, or object present in nature without human action and which in most cases is used to meet human, animal, or plant needs is a natural resource.
As the population and the human ecological footprint grows relentlessly, the sustainable management of natural resources has become a major issue. Africa is made up of the most divergent and converging countries with respect to their wealth of soil and subsoil. How to understand that Africa is not the richest continent in the world is paradoxical. It’s rather amazing how a continent richest in natural resources is the poorest. Some of the natural resources examples include, forest resources, renewable resources and non renewable resources and natural energy.
Here is a summary of TOP 12 AFRICAN COUNTRIES WITH AMAZING NATURAL RESOURCES
