What is going on everyone? Welcome back to the World according to Briggs? Today we are looking at states with the least population density.
One thing people and businesses look at when relocating is population density. They like to know how crowded a town, city, or state is before they start calling real estate agents.
So, population and population density are very different. They measure population density by taking the number of people residing in a location and the number of square miles that location is an average out how many people live per square mile on average.
The global population density not including bodies of water is 120 people per square mile. In the United States, some states exceed that number, and others come far below. This list takes a look at the states with the lowest population density.
Basically what states are a little sparse when it comes to intelligent life.
