Cheapest Cities To Retire in the US. Top 10

Top 10 Cheapest Cities To Retire in the US

What is going on everyone? Welcome back to the world according to Briggs and part two of the Cheapest Cities to retire in the US.
If you haven’t seen part one there will be a link at the end of the video.
But, I’ll give you a recap.
Most of the viewers on this channel are north of 40 years old. I get requests all the time from people wanting me to make a video about the cheapest places to retire. We’ve done a few, but haven’t really focused on big cities. Some people that retire, want to or have to retire in cities. Most of the time it is because of a need to be near good health care. Rural areas and small towns are great, but sometimes you need a big city hospital. Not everyone retires wealthy. So, those people need an affordable city with great health care and decent part-time jobs for retirees. That is what we are looking at. Most of the stats come from a few studies by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.

10 Sunniest Cities In The United States.

Top 10 Sunniest Cities

Welcome back to the world according to Briggs, I am just outside of Portland, OR and it is kinda cold for us. I say for us because I know there are a few cities in the negative right now. About 3 weeks ago we did a video about the coldest states I thought today we would get your mind off of the cold, your aching knees, chattering teeth and look at the cities that get the most sun. Yes, sunshine. Something we haven’t seen much of in Portland for almost 5 months.
When someone is looking for a home maybe buy a little real estate weather is a big factor.
Sunlight is important.
Sunlight can improve our mood.
It may prevent us from eating too much.
It helps stimulate the body’s production of vitamin D.
Sunlight can help clear up skin conditions like psoriasis.
It may help maintain the efficiency of the human eye.
That will be good for all of you when I start making videos in 8K someday.
It can also do some bad things, so wear sunscreen or Sunblock.

These cities get the most sunshine in the United States. They're each booming with sun-lovers as well.

Thanks for checking out the channel. I hope you enjoyed today's video. If there is a state, city or town you'd like us to do a video about let us know in the comment section.

10 Towns You Can Retire or Live for Under $1,500 in the Mid-Atlantic United States

Are you looking to live a little cheaper? Looking to retire on a budget? Have student loans? Maybe moving to one of these towns in the United State will help you achieve that goal.
Today we are looking at the Mid-Atlantic states.
This list is about towns in the United States you can live on under $1500 a month. New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia. These are towns where you can pay your rent, utilities and eat on $1500 a month or less. Retirement is hard enough for most Americans even more so if you live someplace that isn't affordable like almost all of California. Retirement relocating should be part of retirement planning in my opinion. I hope you enjoy this video about the mid-Atlantic states.

???????? Top 10 Worst States to Retire or be a Senior Citizen.

Top 10 Worst States to Retire or be a Senior Citizen.

What is going on everyone, welcome back to the channel let’s talk about getting older. Really sort of by-product of getting older. But it is a magical time that happens for a lot of Americans…. retirement. Retirements come in all kinds of forms. Normal everyday retirement you know you are 65 spent 40 years working and you saved and planned, medical retirement, forced retirement, partial retirement on and on... When this time of your life comes it is normally a welcomed big step. Most of the time when people are looking to retire, they look to do it in places that are easy on the bank account, now if you were a little lucky and a lot smart price doesn’t matter. You saved and invested properly and you can spend your golden years where ever you want. But most Americans that do retire tighten the belt and relax.
The 3 main things people look for when relocating for retirement is the cost of living, amenities, and health care. The other main thing people look for is close to family so there is no way to really rank that, so we’ll leave it alone. This list is about those cities that are attractive to the newly and soon to be retired.
Whatever your retirement situation is, I am sure at least one of these could work for you.
So, sit back and watch my top 10 best cities for retirement in the United States.

Top 10 Best Place To Retire in The United States. Wear Sunscreen

Top 10 Best Place To Retire in The United States. Wear Sunscreen.

This is a much-requested video. Hopefully, we will all be able to retire someday. Most people think the only place anyone ever retires to is Arizona or Florida. A lot do, but for some, things like heat and humidity make them look elsewhere. If you do get a chance to retire, these are some cities you might want to do it in. Some of them you'll need some sunscreen.

Top 10 Cheapest Cities to Retire in The US

Top 10 Cheapest Cities to Retire in The US
.
Ever since I did the worst places to retire I have been asked over and over to do the best places to retire in the United States. Some people consider the nicest place as the best places that’s normally because they have a good amount of money saved up, the rest of us consider the least expensive place as the best. So, we’ll do 2 videos. The first one will be the cheapest city to retire. It will be the cheapest yet decent place to live. I’m not telling anyone to move to Skid Row in LA or Hunts Point in NY. They would be extremely cheap but incredibly dangerous. That would be wrong and I would be filled with guilt thinking someone took my advice or information and moved to some of the nastiest places in the US. Relatively safe and budget-friendly is what we are looking for. Some cities will give you free college courses and breaks on the purchase of a home. So no student loans and a high mortgage at 65.
